  1. Still working for me. Will PM you the link
  2. I'm not happy with the GLOBAL financial situation, for sure. But I guess you're even more unhappy - your massive shareholding must have taken a knock today.
  3. And what was the Socialist approach? I know what the Labour Party approach is, but I don't recall reading about a Socialist approach.
  4. Do you always think in the altogether? Oh no - you rarely think. You just jerk like a puppet on a string, don't you.
  5. How do you know that? You can't tell from that photo!
  6. I'm going to print that off and frame it. He's well fit
  7. David Conn is on holiday and won't be back until Monday.
  8. I'm in that area too so thanks for that info. Promised my grandson we'd go to watch Brentford - can't let the little lad down.
  9. I just googled as follows: mandaric storrie redknapp Then look at the fourth entry on page 2
  10. Is that a rule? Will they be penalised if they don't field 5 subs?
  11. I think he might have already received a communication
  12. So we reckon the media are in receipt of this information but can't publish because the court case is on-going? Pointless sending any links or hints to likes of David Conn at the Guardian?
  13. Blimey! A bit of googling and I think I found the article now removed. :D
  14. Absolutely - no problem with the OP. It was TDD's comment 'fuk em' that I thought to be dubious.
  15. bb I feel quite sorry for him TBF - he has so much hate in his heart for anyone who isn't like him. Poor lad
  16. Lovin' the xenophobia on here - just lovin' it
  17. That SHOULD contravene EU competition laws, I believe.
  18. Whilst, obviously, I'd support Southampton in its bid to retain passenger services, I find this all quite interesting. My mother's family originated from Liverpool and my great-great, great and grandfather were all involved with the merchant shipping trade. My great-great grandfather was a river pilot on the Mersey and my grandfather was a marine engineer. My grandfather worked the Cunard Line out of Liverpool for years until Cunard moved to Southampton and then went on to work for P & O. The irony of the merchant fleet moving back to Liverpool would not be lost on our family.
  19. I'm sure we can do that overnight to solve the current crisis in Africa Of course, in the context of Dave's Big Society, it was home-based charities I was referring to.
  20. There - corrected it for you
  21. Maybe they inherited their money? Or maybe they worked for one of the many private town planning consultancies? Green-eyed goddess eh Nick?
  22. By cutting grants to Charities you mean - and driving some of them to the wall? Who's going to run Dave's Big Society now?
  23. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-14370310 The train service in this region isn't very good.
  24. Don't you think it comes down to the basic tenets of each party (although I honestly struggle to find any for the LibDems). OK, once in power, each party might well move away from its core principles but it's the principles that govern my support. Also, and based on a somewhat naive belief that some in my party of choice will to those principles, I choose a pragmatic approach. That is, party A might come closer to my beliefs than party B ever will.
  25. What about the Rodent?
