  1. Can't help but feel that the games next season will be a little "spicy" ...
  2. This is just getting worse and worse.
  3. And isn't at all related to No 5. Nothing to see here, move along now.
  4. Now, now - we were once within an inch of moving our ground to what is technically Eastleigh (Stoneham Lane). As I recall it was Fred Dineage (of all people) who stopped us.
  5. That would be because the media were always so far up Bielsa's backside that they could see the back of his teeth.
  6. You'd have to ask them, not me.
  7. Sky Sports think that the decision has been made but it won't be announced until tomorrow morning
  8. I've always wanted a three-way. Oops, wrong forum 😜
  9. Thank you Saints, for making my boss a very happy man. He's a Spurs fan ...
  10. Is that all you have to say about the guy who has picked up the pieces after three years of complete mismanagement by Jones, Martin, Sellés, Jurić and Still?
  11. Got to admit it, I could have done without quite so much of the rubbish!
  12. Minor correction - free of charge
  13. Media presence is a skill in itself. Some naturally have it, some don't, and you don't get a whole lot of practice coaching the U-21s. Frankly, I'd rather he focused on developing a playing style that suits our available players, then training and coaching them to work effectively within that style. In that respect today's effort was a good start.
  14. Good call on Stephens. He has, frankly, been a bit of a liability over past year or three. But credit where it is due, da boy dun good today.
  15. Stream was patchy for me today so I didn't get the full picture of the match. But there were periods in the first half when we looked really slick - really good first-time passing and movement. Just needed that final ball and a truly 'lethal' striker. Ross still looks a bit laboured and short on fitness, and the young lad looked exactly what he is when he came on - a young man still learning his trade.
