Being a Southampton is pretty much an awful, woeful hateful experience, it breeds resentment and vitriol as easily as mushrooms grow in the dark, being a medium sized club is hard enough in having to market a method that effectively means you're a whore and have to constantly sell players yet say to the fans it's a "the Southampton way" way of doing things, this is made an awful lot more difficult when you have owners who quite frankly are trying in some perverse form of BDSM to rival the Venkys of Blackburn.

Southampton FC has some of the most passive nice fans from any league, we always have been so, no northern team would accept this crap, Everton and Leeds spring to mind, they'd be going mental and steaming onto the pitch, we deserve far far better but we have to show our dissatisfaction.
