Where have I called it early with Still? I bet you wish we stuck by Nathan Jones
-
We have better player, in almost every position. 0-2 to saints. Archer to get another
-
Yea, Ralph was excellent until about 6 months toward the end of that last full season Don’t be annoyed when I call it right early, as I did with Jones and Martin Still, not sure so far as he is much of the same, ala a Ginger Juric
-
And that helps by the fact the players we had on the pitch were, by far, superior to theirs (our squad is much stronger) We were still garbage for the first half
-
Charles is a different player. My point is, the manager is not going to get a new 11, he is supposed to be “flexible”, he has to, at some point, play to some of the strengths of players like downs If Charles was asked to be the lone central midfielder much of the time, he would be questioned.
-
Then that is another player unable to play to the managers system. he is being asked to largely be the central midfielder, impossible for anyone who isn’t Rodri or such like
-
Much of the team were doing that for the first half (again) the defenders were even injuring each other god awful system the Ginger Juric has us playing. I am sure his flexibility will be seen soon
-
Not surprised he is struggling, we are wide open in the middle of the park.
-
We got the ball forward more quickly.
-
He put in a right shift. He is pretty much holding a wide area on his own when teams break....no chance in this set up

Thought they looked dreadful in the first half.
-
Yes, but our striking options today could have paid for their match day squad about 2 or 3 times over.... We had much better players playing today, with a far stronger bench, Good 2nd half though
-
Do NOT, repeat DO NOT play Armstrong as the lone striker. and ditch the back 3
-
Depends the protection in midfield is, but would allow us to bully the opposition further up the pitch (imo)
-
How we play, there are massive amount of space in the middle of the park when we lose the ball high up the pitch. Charles drifts left, with Fraser drifting right...huge gaps, leaving Downes, on this occasion, to have players running at him.
-
FT 0-3 First half; Thought we were largely bad. No rhythm, little/no patterns of play, looking incredibly shaky at the back and wide open spaces all over the park. excellent individual goal. Second Half: Much more purpose with the ball, still wide open in midfield, but more sure in defence. Looked stronger as the game went on, but then we did have a faaaaar stronger bench than Norwich. Patterns of play in the first half are a huge concern, and we are still wide open in the middle of the park. Charles does cover some ground during the game, but we will continue to be incredibly vulnerable on a quick counter if we persist with the horrible 3 at the back set up. But we looked more of a threat with 2 strikers. Cracking goal from Matsuki also. Charles was my MoM, closely followed by Archer and Fraser. Surely, just surely...we will not go into the Watford game with Armstrong as the lone striker...just cannot happen.

Unlucky from Downs
-
You dont save those.... He probably should have, but what a hit
-
Looking a lot better here
-
Charles covers some ground during game.
-
Hilarious defending 0-2
-
We consistently have huge gaps between our players (other than the back 3). When a team hits us on the break, you can see why we are in trouble. This style will get you slaughtered, on Russell Martin proportions, when you dont have better players than the other side
-
Unlucky from Stewart there when nicking the ball from the defender
-
Celtic out of the Champions League - added spice of shit at the weekend then
-
Stewart wanted that a stride earlier
