I am echoing the manager. He said we have dropped too many points in this run and we need to be better away from home. He said that the record is nice but no use if we don’t get promoted this season. he said that. Is he also too picky or belittling?

First half or second half at Swansea?

Tough league? I would say the opposite, the standard is poor, bar maybe the top 4 teams.

Between now and April, we have probably the hardest run of games compared to our rivals. after the easiest set of fixtures, we are still not top 2! all well and good patting ourselves on the back for an unbeaten run, but reality is, over the season - including in that run - we have dropped too many points, especially away, to crap teams.

So, after a record breaking run, with the easiest set of Xmas and new year fixtures in the entire league, we are still not top 2.

I wonder if they are as disappointing in this half of football as our 2nd half at Swansea? I think Leicester have been pretty good against the 3rd best team in the league. Reminds me of many games we have had and struggled to score (against far worse teams than Ipswich) As for Ipswich, away to by far the best side in the league and defending well enough on the edge of their box. As said, lets see how good we are when we have to go away to WBA, Ipswich and Leicester.......before Leeds

well, it is. The squad will be a fair bit of a lower standard, more cost cutting and a bit of buckling up for the long-haul in the Championship

Comparing to a points tally 10 years ago is completely pointless. This league differs a fair bit year-on-year.

So, let’s say Leicester beat Ipswich, it will have taken a 20-game record breaking run from saints to haul-in 1 whole point on them. i don’t even think we have 20 games left to get the other 10 points needed. Added to that, we have the hardest away games remaining if the top 4.
