Ukraines success in maintaining the fight against Russian defensive lines are almost (or entirely) linked to support from the US. Such support is coming under increasing scrutiny, with commitments going through the political boxing ring, as they enter an election year. Can't really count on Europe/EU to provide the required bulk and capability....just to maintain the fight against what Russia has set up as a defensive line. Should Ukraine fail to break through the Russian lines, we can almost guarantee to hear the louder calls for a "settlement", whether we like it or not. As said, Ukraine (with Russia) have taken an almighty pounding, but the Russian side have, by comparison, infinite resources to chuck at the meat grinder. That's not counting the vast majority of the Russian Navy or any of their Strategic Forces. Of course, who knows what the new year will bring, as the weather sets in and slows the fighting down for xmas. But if Ukraine continues with a war of attrition style - after all, they are more alike Russians than their western allies - the will need a major uplift in kit and capability (from the US), coupled with a reversal in policy or significant change at the very top in Russia, to drive them out.
-
How long has this issue been around them? I bet they get a big fine and a suspended points deduction....that will be that
-
If Russia want to move into some hell hole in the near/middle east that used to be part of the Soviet Union, good luck to them.
-
So, other than Ukraine, no where of interest to anyone really?
-
Settling with Russia in Ukraine is probably not in the US interests at the moment. Not whilst they are managing another conflict in the middle east, which risks escalation into the wider region
-
If it is getting worse for Russia, it is horrific for Ukrainians. The standard of the Ukrainian conscripts has fallen dramatically. They have lost in excess of 120-150k troops, and whilst Russia has probably lost as many (or more), they have, in comparison, an infinite supply to the meat grinder.

One thing their book isn't....a cartoon sketch book. Very moderate Muslims will threaten your life and put you into hiding forever.

I think we should take time to applaud a massively successful African American like him

I remember when Leicester were in real trouble and literally had to sell anyone with a pulse

The might of the US Armed Forces (backed up with 50k UK Forces) did not invade Iraq without some 'shock and awe' beforehand....and lets not pretend we were really worried about civilian casualties at the time.
-
Not without taking massive casualties.....Artillery/air strikes is king, not sure any successful (or unsuccessful) campaigns have taken place with it/them

Not a clue. I have no idea who most of the player are

In the context of the question posed, they are frustrated not to have scored more individually and as a team. They see the video's back and aware they need to be in different positions. Ryan Fraser was used as a good example of arriving in the right area in the box for that type of ball

Preston Presser..... No change to our preparation, even if after a last minute winner players had an extra spring in their step. Watch the game back and the lads can see how relentless they were in the last 30 mins there will be changes in the next 2 games, for sure. Some enforced, som due to learning from the last 3 game week It will be an interesting game. will be a good game We chose to enjoy saturday in the moment, but our focus was immediately on the next game many hours spend watching the hull game, both good and bad, to help the players as much as possible we really enjoy it as staff preston will be a different challenge, they play a different style preparation for Preston started a week or 2 ago, it is a relentless league we were really frustrated with 7 points from 9 and determined to go better we will asses some of the players, a couple were carrying injuries so 3 games in a week may not be possible for all of them this may be an opportunity for some of the players on the edges and it is on them to take it we have had a consistent 11 to be fair, but the guys who came off the bench of Sat made a huge impact. More so when watching the game back consistency in the line up has made a difference but the fixture schedule, with international break hits all teams we have a brilliant squad, and some of them have a chance to step up KwP can literally play anywhere (bar CB), he could probably play No.10. He is having a huge impact at RB, and we will discuss with him for preston on where to play him may tweak the shape. If we do, the players will be comfortable KwP has been outstanding, and we have adapted the set up for him, he has a great understanding with Adam Armstrong and Will Smallbone Adam Armstrong is the 2nd top scorer in the league yet he is personally really frustrated with how his season has gone as he expects to be much better Adam has great attention to detail, his work rate is amazing, works so hard forward and back. His favourite role is No.9 but he just gives everything We are constantly tweaking how to get the best out of him. he give great feedback to staff and challenges staff - amazing example to the team We want the wide players to gamble more at the far post and not stick wide we have not scored no where near the number of goals we should. we have huge talent in the final 3rd and the wingers should be scoring more Fraser scored a great example by getting into the middle of the box, and the ball can find them Sometimes the players can be too unselfish at times. It will come, as we should be scoring more goals Kamaldeen, KwP and Carlos are all very frustrated, with Che and Adam, as they are very dangerous players. They are close and we will see this improve Preston are a very athletic team and will get the ball forward more quickly than Hull and they are a very good side Their management team are well drilled and we should be excited. The players who get opportunities need to take them and force their way into the team

I wonder if the US will allow Israel to deploy F35s combat aircraft in the region....just yet? Just curious how much of a hand on the tillar the US have.
