who is getting picked and idolised (which suggests you may not pick them if given the choice)?
-
not only a championship record, but currently the worst defence in English profession football. The type of comments like 'patience' etc was said early in the Nathan Jones tenure. Look how that turned out.
-
Restfulness because we are ridiculously open and letting in goals for fun. Should they applaud that?
-
Are you suggesting the fans are the problem? If so, I do not buy it. We have one of the most compliant set of fans around.
-
we just bought Sunderlands version of Rickie Lambert. Sorry mate, I just cannot agree what so ever. We have a top 3 squad in terms of strength and depth.
-
You would think (i know easy for us in the chair) to have Manning (or A N Other) in line with Smallbone, but supporting the side the ball is on (Manning in this case), with Alcaraz 25 yards out for the situation as you say. This cannot be a 1-off as we are WIDE OPEN from our own corners. What the hell is going on in that picture, no idea. just absolutely comical.
-
Smallbone was our deepest player (and only option for Sully). Shortly after this picture, it was 3-on-1 against Bazunu 25 yards inside the Leicester half. Yoy can see Manning and KwP in/around the 18 yard line, well within the width of the box...fucking mental This was on 66 mins, not 86. This was not a mistake, or players not following instructions. This is what our idiot manager is proud of.
-
True, Leicester were not that great (did not have to be), but look at their shape / set up compared to ours....night and day.
-
But according to Martin, we played well, he is proud and the players did what was asked of them. In fact, no one will criticise the Leicester manager at all despite them losing the ball more than Saints. I mean, we are hilariously wide open at our own corners. Their 4th....it was of Leicester attackers against Bazunu from 25 years inside their own half....WTF! tRusT ThE pRoCesS
-
Worse. However, MLG is on twitter telling people off. Suggesting we can't expect nothing more at the moment as Martin has only had 2 days training with the whole squad.
-
He needs to not be asked to play CM from the fullback position....
-
The only other highlight (apart from Edozie and Baz) was the blonde chick in the centre circle before the game
-
Bazunu, KwP, Bed, ThB, Manning, Charles, Smallbone, Alcaraz, A.Armstrong, Adams, Edozie Stop playing Adam Armstrong as a central attacking midfielder, stop playing Charles CB, stop leaving massive wide open spaces when we attack, stop playing the fullbacks as CMers. If Martin insists another defeat is part of the 'pain' we must endure, he can piss off too. One thing though, Ipswich fans will love it if they beat us, don't think they like old Rusty too much.

KwP is a good player. He is being asked to play a hybrid fullback/Central midfielder, when he is good proper attacking full back
-
With him here, we are bound to win a few games and even go on a little run. As we should, we have a much better squad than about 20 teams in the league. However, he will also ensure we will finish 7th place or below, which with this squad will be criminal. He is clearly out of his depth and appears Sports Republic have hired yet ANOTHER dud
-
If we keep playing this way, we will still games, we have better players than about 20 teams in the league, so it is bound to happen. I am sure we will comfortably beat Rotherham for example. no chance we will get promoted though.
-
might as well get Ralph back. He is still on the payroll, right?
-
After reading Martin’s post match comments again, I think he might need a hug from Holly Willoughby
-
He is a clown
-
Think you did. He was miles better than any of our players operating in the same area
-
pretty much ran the midfield in front of their back 4...which did not give us much, bar lots of long shots
-
Martin.....post match Everyones responsibility tonight we made it difficult, 3rd goal was the killer we were on top in the 2nd half, they were clinical, we were not people will talk about the score, but if we were more clinical, it would be different we cannot concede 2 early goals we went toe to toe, and you have to accept they will get through us at times I am proud of the players, as this is different to Sunderland, they did what we asked them Leicester lost the ball more than we did, but no one will criticise their manager we will continue to work on what we do if anyone expects to not experience pain now, they are naive This was much better than sunderland, and not a huge amount in it tonight the first goal was ridiculous, 2nd goal we know why as players were out of position, 3rd goal was about poor transition we will make more mistakes and we will see more bumps in the road how people react is up to them If we play like we did tonight, move the ball like that, we will be more than OK All will want a reaction on Tuesday. If we play like we did tonight, sure it will come James Justin said it was not a red card, I do not believe it was a red card, we will see.

Not so much that, but just fecking piss easy against us on the break. When I say piss easy, it is an embarrassment to the professional game. Look at Leicester's 4th, they were 3-on-1 with our keeper from 25 yards inside their own half. But I guess you have the lived experience.
