Pompey bossed us for much of the game having spent roughly the same as we spent on Quarshie alone. About 20 sides would absolutely cream themselves if they could spend £60m in one summer for a Championship promotion tilt. £60m to go alongside many players who have already won promotion out of the this league 2 years ago.

what we should be doing is playing in a way that gets the most out of what we have, given the manager is a supposed master tactician and does not have a single style of play (utter bollox BTW)

It wont be their youth side. I am sure Isak will get minutes, as will Frimpong, Robertson, Wirtz etc

Keeping a manager just because it is 6 games and one that is out of his depth, and/or in a position where it is clearly not working......is just daft. The season can be saved, but of course, we will persist with Still, pick up the odd point as we have better players than most of the competition, and waste this season.

Blaming everything on Martin is tedious and lazy. he was in charge for 18 months, and half the team now had little/nothing to do with him, with a few managers in/out since he was here. what we have this season is a manager so far out of his depth it is embarrassing, and he is throwing any old cliche to give himself space. Our fan base is so noddy that we generally accept shite time and time again.
