Re-examining and learning from history
Weston Super Saint replied to badgerx16's topic in The Lounge
Lol. What a strange point of view. Using your benchmarking, it's like saying that every 1000 people in an EDL march are only really there because they like white flags with red crosses on them, it's only the odd one or two people on the march that have racist and homophobic views but they're irrelevant really! -
Klopp?

By 'a few' do you mean the organisers? -
Something Charles has been hoping for, for decades?

So Farage was definitely not stood in front of a poster of Jews being marched to a concentration camp. Glad we cleared that up.
-
Can they live in the houses of the people who have said they are leaving the UK to go and live in the EU?
-
Will it be just them that are poorer?
-
Yep, that's the one. The one with all the Jews being marched off to concentration camps

There seems to be an issue with the messaging on the site - message received today that says a 'full member' who is also a 'subscriber' cannot receive a message.

That's a bit odd, the post you are quoting seems to have disappeared and been replaced by a thin blue line. Maybe it's new forum gremlins or it's been deleted....

We DO live in a country where white people were historically used as slaves and suffered centuries of oppression. Does that mean that statements like WLM and white power have a different meaning? -
The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

So is the message "don't do anything wrong at all and be removed from the shadow cabinet"?

Uh-oh. Could be terror related, could just be a complete nutter. No doubt the police will cop some flack for killing the suspect though. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-scotland-53093384 -

The way I read it, a section 14 only applies to 'organised' gatherings, so there would be nothing to stop people from turning up 'ad-hoc' and counter protesting. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1986/64/section/14#:~:text=he may give directions imposing,to prevent such disorder%2C damage%2C Would certainly be a dilemma for the police if that happened and interesting to see how they would police that - potentially could make matters worse if they are heavy handed with one group but not another.... -
You're right. Very easy to social distance on a beach, the same as a field, forest, lake, countryside. I guess what they're most worried about are the choke points - car parks, paths to beaches, takeaways, toilets etc where it's not so easy to socially distance. Watching the news yesterday, I believe their MI team were stopping more people from entering the town, closing roads and dishing out lots of parking fines

There seems to be a pattern emerging. Is there still a restriction of no more than 6 people in a gathering? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-53188547
