I think the law states you can have paid leave for bereavement but only for immediate family members. I think your boss has been quite generous to give you holiday pay, as I suppose they could have left it as an unpaid leave day. Now, if you had been less honest and said you were sick for the day, you would probably have been paid and still had the holiday pay left!!! Are you salaried, or hourly paid btw?

Simple really.... IF - and it's a mighty big IF as far as I'm concerned - this consortium are going to takeover SFC, why would they bother going to the trouble of making their own website? And why would they need the Sports and Hospitality section on it? I'm assuming that IF they were to takeover SFC that would also include taking over the Official Website, which has adequate provisions for sports and hospitality doesn't it? Other than that, if they aren't taking over SFC - IMHO far more likely - how is a completely unheard of company going to attract corporate hospitality guests to unknown sports events?

I've been promised a new one for Christmas Anyway, it seems to have gotten quicker since I made the thread - probably less people pressing the refresh button since the game ended.

So the new all singing all dancing forum that will never crash and costs a fiver, would appear to be slowing to a snails pace this evening. And this on a Tuesday evening playing a relatively unimportant game, and only 400 odd users online.
