What the fuck does being brave actually mean? None of the players we have are brave, they all hide when the going gets tough. They all hide behind playing five yard passes to the nearest team mate as they haven't got the balls to try and make anything happen. We are weak and get bullied and pushed around every game. Lightweight just about sums us up.

Not sure how you can defend Martin after having to sit through that shit. Equally as bad anything I watched under Jones and Selles. We just got outplayed and out fought by a team that were playing League 1 football last season.

Wasn't there a moment in the first half when Edoize was running forward with the ball, and then just suddenly stopped on the halfway line, before passing it backwards? Watching it, I thought the whistle had gone, but it hadn't. He had acres to run into, yet passed backwards like he suddenly remembered he wasn't allowed to carry the ball into the opposing half. Totally bizarre.

If things don't improve, it's going to get ugly pretty quickly. I can take losing games, but the manner in which we lose games and concede goals is just amatuerish.

I was spitting feathers after Friday's game, but hearing Whitey's situation just reminds me that football is just a game.

Plus Brighton's recruitment of players is bang on the money. They don’t seem to buy many flops. Can't stand them personally, but you have to respect what they are doing.

If we wanted a young up and coming manager, maybe we should have approached Ipswich during the summer. Not suggesting he would have been interested, but at least it seems he knows how to get a team to play.

Most of the shots we had on target were straight at him. Don't really recall him having to make too many difficult saves.

I wasn't necessarily talking about what they do on the pitch. Off the pitch they seem to be pretty well run, having their own identity and not obsessed about copying what one of the most successful clubs in the world do.

Our issue is that SR are obsessed with copying what Manchester City are doing. This is fine if you have the players to do it and a manager that is one of the best in the world. Marry that with endless cash resources and the ability to mug off clubs that think they are buying the next superstar from them, then we will have something. At the moment we employ manager's that are Pep wannabees who think they can re-invent football. With Ankerson's previous involvement with Brentford, we would be better served following their model.

This squad should be challenging for top 2, no question. If we don't get promoted it will be absolutely on Martin and SR's fanatical obsession with trying to make us Manchester City.

Matter of opinion, but I think Winks is a far better player than Smallbone.

Is Smallbone your new son in law, Duck?! Still plenty to choose from this season though.
