Well as you guys know my beloved Leicester are struggling & there is all kinds of chatter about Marti Cifuentes getting fired. I now see all kinds of articles connecting Russel Martin with the job. I've supported Leicester since 1960 but this will severely test my loyalty !!!

I was not condoning Will Stills performance but pointing out that the club itself has to accept a certain degree of responsibility.

I agree that a manager has to take responsibility but the people who put the team together need to be held responsible as well. Expecting a manager to work miracles with shit is a bit much.

Not by everybody ... For a lot of us our judgement of a manager is based on how good a job they've done with the assets they have.

My understanding is there are three separate charges.

The bookies know what they are doing. Leicester really don't look good enough at the moment. I also think there will be a points deduction at some point & the bookies are factoring that in.

So Russell Martin got Southampton promoted but Frank Lampard failed with Derby County & Coventry. Does that mean that Martin is a better manager than Lampard or were Southampton a better team than Derby & Coventry. It can be difficult to judge managers using league position as a determining factor.
