    Will Still

The onus is on the club to ensure that the manager has a team that is able to compete at the Premier League level. Selling players is fine as long as there are quality players who can replace them.
  2. Or Rud Van Nistelrooy !
  3. The problem being that the Premier League is so tough that no club can afford a poor start & hope to recover. If you wait 12 to 15 games to replace the manager the next manager has an almost impossible task.
  4. I honestly thought that Leeds would replace Farke this summer but it seems they are going to give hime another crack at the Premier. Personally I feel that it is a mistake.
  5. 100% correct.
  6. The English Premier League & the Scottish Premiership are light years apart in degree of difficulty. RM was never good enough to manage at the top level & other managers took advantage of his limited tactics. The SFA is a much lower quality & maybe his style will work for him there. The problem will be Champions League qualification & off course the Celtic games. The Rangers fans don't seem too happy with his appointment will not give much slack .... It should be very interesting !!!
  7. The Scottish Premiership is a bit of joke in all honesty, probably on a par with League Two in overall quality. Martin can play his tippy tappy football & look good against ten of the teams in a twelve team league but the games that really matter against Celtic could be a disaster.
  8. Words alone cannot express how happy I am to see him sign for Rangers. We dodged a bullet !!!
  9. That's what worries me... I'm hoping the 12 point deduction will put Martin off & he buggers off to Glasgow.
  10. Personally I would rather have a twelve point deduction than Russel Martin.. I'm hoping it will be enough to deter him !!! We are so incompetent that it's difficult to guess the next move.
  11. Leicester looking at a 12 point deduction so I don't think Martin will be too interested in the job anymore. Rangers seem more likely to sign him now.
  12. It will depend on how much money they can spend and how well they spend it but the Odds are against them
  13. Even though RVN was awful it still doesn’t make Firing Cooper a bad decision. We were getting relegated with Cooper but needed to replace with a Dyche or a Moyes. Martin will complete the Triple for us. Three terrible choices in a row !!
  14. Please, Please, PLEASE Noooooo !!!!!!
  15. I don't know any Leicester fan that wants the twat.
  16. I’m assuming that your comment was somewhat tongue in cheek For the most part , the ones complaining will always be the ones complaining.
  17. Don’t hold it in. It’s not healthy!! Say what you’re thinking !!!
  18. Thanks ... I appreciate that.
  19. It's a nightmare !!! Leicester continue to make ridiculous decisions. You would think that anyone with even the slightest knowledge of football would have seen what happened when Martin thought he knew better than the other 19 managers.
  20. Who wouldn't be a gamble ?? Hiring a young progressive manager is a gamble but one worth taking in my opinion. The club need a revamp, a change of culture & a young manager can certainly go a long way to making that happen.
  21. It's the stuff dreams are made of. From being let go by Wednesday & playing part time to playing for England.
  22. Sparking Repartee is not your long suit is it.
  23. That's exactly why a Manager would go. Jamie Vardy was let go by Sheffield Wednesday for free.
  24. We are a disaster of a club at the moment.... We need to clean house but our owner seems to want to keep his cronies in place. Even with a points deduction I expect us to gain promotion followed by relegation shortly after. We need a change of culture coupled with new progressive people in upper management positions but unfortunately all we do is rearrange the deck chairs.
  25. But that’s the problem isn’t it??? He most likely would get Leicester promoted but he is not capable of winning in the Premier League. Leicester would likely do what you guys did & stick with him to long & complete the chain & get relegated again. Leicester and Southampton both need to hire a manager that can get them promoted and also keep them in the premier.
