Big fan, though he may be pushed around the boardroom

I wish they’d get rid of LGBTQ+ and seperate. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual should not be categorised along with these people. Douglas Murray said support for gay marriage is actually going down, and it’s clearly due to them being grouped with these people. I’m not gay but even I know “Queer” to a gay person is an insult not something gay people going round calling themselves. Surely sane LGBs look at this and think fuck off?

it’s a funny little fuck you to the club who have facilitated his recovery over the past year. 😂 Cant blame him though.

No matter what happens this summer I doubt at the end of it i’d describe it as painful, especially after the previous season. There’s few id keep but on the whole no worries if any go. It is time for a change.

Money must have come from his Mcdonald’s endorsement based on his eyebrows.

My argument said ideally I’d want an MPs with a mix of both experience or qualifications but you played the boring game of generalising my opinion. Yes, I didn’t believe Rayner had a long enough time frame of experience to justify her place on normality alone. I felt if you were getting in on experience alone i’d much rather someone from a union of longer years who’s been there, done it, seen it all. Is that not the point of experience? What you wrongly insinuated was that I believed (when saying ‘qualifications’) I meant: Prep school, Eton, and a PPE at Oxbridge ? Being a rich investment banker ? Being the son of a Lord and former Cabinet member ? This is completely untrue, education can come from many different places. When I mention Rayners qualifications I am clearly referring to her lack of even basic GCSEs which just 18% leave school without. This is not to knock people without GCSEs but why should I feel encouraged by this person then being in a job as high as “deputy prime minister”, or even shadow education minister which she was beforehand? I’d hope by voting for these people they’d be more qualified than even myself and 80% of the country before becoming a lawmaker in this country.

I agree to some degree. I don’t deny she is an asset as an MP however I don’t see her as a cabinet type. She’s a good reactionary to policy with broad ideas, but as a dictator of policy with detailed analysis I simply don’t see it from whenever i’ve seen her debate. I think Keir has acknowledged this by sidelining her recently.

Sorry mate i’m not going to debate with you as you clearly did not read what I had previously said.

once again as i’ve already explained it has nothing to do with regional accents. It’s more to do with the fact she has no qualifications. Fair enough she was a care worker but she still was elected as an MP in her early 30s. This in my view is too quick to be able to claim educational pros (as she dosent have them) or enough time to claim a “normal life” benefit to electorate. There are many more people who have lived a normal life, are they fit to be in cabinet? Here i’m not advocating for a bunch of poshos leading us, likewise a bunch of people with no qualification just because they’re “normal”. Id want a mix of education and experience of normality. That’s not really a good argument though is it? I’m not looking to vote one as “they’re less thick than the other”. I don’t think either party should be thick on the front bench and it shows the lack of quality that this is the case. Sadly from Rayner v Dowden a couple weeks ago it’s solidified it for me - clearly they’re both out of their depth. I can’t stand petty politics which is why i’ll probably vote neither into power. Sadly, others will.

To be fair this thread had died down before Rob posted in it, but still it is funny to see dissertation apologies. @SaintRob__Have you joined SWF full time?

why make it a northern thing? I just think she’s thick

can keir get rid of angela rayner from the front bench whilst he’s at it as well. She’s another one that without doubt is holding back voters.

What’s the need? Let me picture it for you to not waste hours of your life. A few fans will be interviewed trying to say why our club is not like every other club. “This club is different, we pay our hard earned money to come watch this team. It’s our religion. You don’t get that anywhere else”. Add in a few clips of passionate team talks where the manager shouts. Add in the ground man crying as he’s been here 30 years and the club means so much. Add the players sitting down eating breakfast. Add in an unexpected loss, with the end of the episode being a cyclical make-up win. Everyone’s happy. That’s every all or nothing basically.

The guardian said a few hours ago that Ukraine are currently liberating land Russia has held since 2014, but I can’t see this anywhere else. Does anyone know if this is true?

no wasn’t that under hughes and was at home? yoshida in the firing line leading to a dubious offside call The cheating at watford was away and was the doucoure obvious handball.

see many saints fans review of selles as “top coach, manager unsure”. What is this top coach based on. We were terrible at the end of the season prior to his joining, but have we not been considerably worse since he joined as a coach? The only thing I can see is the players liked him, which with their shitty attitudes isn’t a good thing. Terrible manager, can’t be a good coach based off the end product. Sorry for bringing this up again but had to say it again as reading fans seem to believe the same nonsensical myth as some of us do.

true but it depends on the percentage opposing putin in the army. The army has 800,000 + active personnel. Thus, even if some opposed putin the coup of 25,000 marching on moscow would eventually be led into a death trap. I give it about a 10% chance. Our biggest hope is a domino effect from this into the Russian public to join the fight. But seeing as those they need to join are a bunch of murderers and rapists who would they side with - Wagner or hero to many putin.
-
What’s our best outcome from this? - Prolonged civil war - Wagner victory, rapist and murderers still in charge but ministry of defence and potentially putin taken down in the future. - Putin victory (most likely) continuing on attacks on ukraine likely without the questioning from forces such as wagner

is that because sky already announced this yesterday?
