A 720p TV cannot match a 1080p 24fps TV (which the Toshiba is) playing a blu-ray disc. The Toshiba is superb at this and this one has resolution +, which only the top of the range Toshiba's have like my own 46" ZV Toshiba!

Its the same size 42" plus its a 1080p and the plasma is not!
