  1. Agree, but we're the "silent" majority, so don't count to many on here........
  2. You guys clearly don't have enough going on at work.....
  3. Nice one, that makes me feel a bit happier, so thanks!
  4. I will continue to go to every home game whether we are in Premier or Conference league. Saints are my club & who is in charge or what league we play in makes no difference to my commitment to them. However, those adopting the "won't go whilst RL is in charge" stance are shooting themselves & the club in the foot - we need to get higher gates to keep the banks at bay & without bigger crowds (1) we will have to sell our best propects & then (2) we will go bust. I doubt the banks would have backed the previous regime any longer, so RL has already brought us a major stay of execution.
  5. I'm going with my son. Hope the 5.05pm flyer from Waterloo is running no time tonight....
  6. Frank's Cousin - you are THE man. Best post on here in years! I totally agree with you. I first supported Saints when at University in God's city & my first season was 1976/77, so I even missed the glory of the Cup final, So what? I have loved it all, good & bad, ups & downs. I would watch Saints play non-league football. Not sure many otheres on here could or would say the same though.......
  7. I totally disagree about the atmosphere. I was there & everyone cheered when we scored. Yes there was general nervousness when Ipswich got the upper hand in the second half, but at least in the first half we were the better team. As for the attendance - mid week game, results not going our way, recession looming etc etc - so no surprise IMHO. FWIW, I will be there again on Saturday & don't give a fig who runs/owns my club or which division we are in - I will always turn up as I am a Saints fan forever & whatever, through thick & thin !
  8. Me. Can't wait & expect a positive result.
