Why do I take from all of this that they are happy for a year or two in the championship? -
... If he was that good, how come he didn't show it to us on matchdays. TBF he is good, I just think he's overrated and madness at £50m
-
Fernandes is key, I bet Dibling knows that too. If Fernandes goes, and given our record of recruitment, promotion looks a heavy lift from here. Its not as if we have talent all over the park. GK - Bazunu (OK at best) Defenders - Average Midfield - After Fernandes it looks weak Stikers - Lets not go there. If Armstrong fails to do his 'championhsip' thing, its trouble I'd say were in a much worse position than we were this time 2 years ago when last relegated. 4 weeks to go to get quality in, probably 4 games to play without (assuming Dibling and Fernandes have 'niggles')
-
Problem is - if Saints have an average mid table season and Dibbling does his usual turning up for one game a month, then his value next summer will be more like £15m. I'd take anything approaching £40m now.

They could/should have offered ST holders the 5% reduction and installment as a loyalty for saying the course this season. I don't like the spin of 4 extra games, the ST price didn't come down this year though there were 4 less games! Either way, I have little confidence that next season will be a good one. We're in a much worse position ... no manager, not sure which players are staying, the best are bound to leave, club may be up for sale and Bazunu back in goal 😂 Think its membership for me. Not so much about the ST price, I just see a difficult season ahead and a mid table finish.

Perhaps even use them instead of his hands

I walked past the Chelsea demonstration and listened in for a bit. Had to laugh, they think they have something to complain about. Hold my beer ...

It certainly isn't just Juric, but I don't see him having the skills, nous and wherewithall to rebuild this club in the summer to be able to fight for promotion. Not sure who can and it feels like an impossible task. The painful seasons haven't ended yet I fear.

Agreed. Given that contracts get very very detailed over bonuses, sell on clauses etc, how do you lawyers not write in something in that says ... 'if you are out injured for more that 6 months, your pay drops 50%' or 'if your injured for 12 months, we reserve the right to terminate your contract pay 25% of outstanding amounts' Might sound harsh, but lets not forget these guys are on tens of thousands per week! Surely clubs should get together contracts people together and agree on something like this save being taken to the cleaners by agents. Remeber its the fans that are paying for it. My last employment contract said something like 'if you are off sick for a year, we can terminate you employment on the grounds of ill health'

Is it the players? Is it the manager? Is it the tactics? Is it Sports Republic? I really have no f***king idea idea anymore

I have a season ticket and am a 'lifer', so 'have' to go, but I'm astonished that each home game is a sell out. SR must be laughing their cocks off ... 'no matter how shit we are, they just keep coming and paying'. Probably get 30k per home game next season too. Where's the problem they say?
-
I've got both coming up. Might start a crowd fund for some vaesline.

So true. We are way way worse than we were the last time we were relegated. This is an average championship team if I'm being generous. The best will leave in the summer and we'll be left with a sub standard championship team. There will be incomings but given SR's success in recruitment you can see how most are fearful for next season.

LOL. Were you at Wembley? Look, we scored the only goal that matters but were second best and I would never say we 'breezed' it.
