It entertains me that people keep harping on about what a great training ground coach Puel is. One seriously has to wonder what he's got Redmond doing the other six days a week...

Not just the results it's the insipid football we are producing that is most concerning. If/when we get shredded by Liverpool then our season will be over.

Too early to want Puel out? Willing to give him a bit of time but these toothless performances are very regular.

Was a lot better in his first season for us than a lot on here remember. If you watch the season review he scored a number of important goals. I remember when we were 3-1 up away at Stoke around Christmas the away end started singing "and we've still got Gaston on the bench." Not sure we'd have been singing that if he'd have been dog awful as the reviews on here would lead you to believe. It was Poch coming in that really did for him as he was nowhere near hardworking enough for a Poch team. We've moved on from him but as others have said he'd be a decent player in the current system. The tip of a diamond was always going to be his best position.

I think these companies have been incorporated by Norton Rose, a city law firm who are likely acting for them in this, if the registered address is anything to go by. If that's right then they are certainly quite far into looking at some kind of acquisition. You wouldn't normally bother incorporating a new company to make an acquisition unless you were relatively deep into negotiations. Doesn't mean it'll definitely happen though.

JRod needs to go on loan. We can't afford to give him the game time he needs here.

Should never have started with JRod. Disallowed goal aside he was dreadful. Too many changes from Puel for me when we likely lose to City in any event. Good performance and should have won but a lot of what ifs given our best striker started on the bench. Still, nothing the manager can do about all those missed chances. Onto the next!
