I'm having a lot of my in-built prejudices reinforced by this guy too.
-
I believe @Saint Garrett first said it on Sunday morning.
-
Given the sources - I tend to believe the Sunday morning bust up at training but not about players training on their own. That being said I haven't had experience of charlie's ITKness. I am both happy and unhappy to be proven wrong on both of these.

Normally I'd say this is a nailed on 1-0 win for Wolves where they'd hit us on the break. There's nothing to break against right now as Jonesball seems to involve giving the ball away, inviting pressure and being overrun in midfield. So I'm going with 4-0 to Wolves with a Lemina hattrick because Saints seem able to bring out the worst in any situation right now.
-
Ankersen has watched Moneyball enough to know what happens next. I cannot believe people are doubting him. We've had the low of last weekend but it's all montage from here, baby.
-
Much as I don't think he should be manager of Saints I sincerely hope he's getting the care he needs right now. I worry that keeping in a situation that he's not handling well is harmful for him.

Epilogue: Someone tries to make the children feel bad about the dog's death by putting together a contrived fable on an Internet forum.
-
A mother buys a dog for Christmas after reading about its xJ (expected joy) for children being among the best in Europe. It yaps constantly and shits everywhere. When people ask the dog not to shit everywhere it bites them. The mother finally relents and has the dog put down but everything and everyone are left covered in shit and dog bites. The children murder their mother in her sleep.

Agree with that and that our (lack of) on pitch leadership is a whole other bag of snakes
-
That's not what I'm saying. If he's not seeing effort on the pitch go and tell them on the pitch.
-
It's a lot better than saying we didn't show enough desire in your post match interview
-
As a captain he should be going full Roy Keane then.
-
He's unifying. Just not in that way
-
SR think this is the bit where the doubt is replaced by wonder as their moneyball approach kicks in

I did seriously debate putting ten grand on at 10/1. Then I remembered I don't have ten grand.
-
First dibs for Leeds then.
-
I don't see him swallowing his pride. The press will be there to push his buttons if he tries. I imagine something like "did you underestimate the size of the step up in moving from Luton would be so big?" or "why haven't you been able to impose your style in 3 months?" would set him off. And heaven forbid the self righteous explosion of Perry point scoring if we actually won on Saturday.

The thought of letting Nathan Jones out ever again to speak in public on behalf of Southampton club should be something that terrifies the current board. Given how thin skinned he is and the attention he's just brought on himself he's going to need a minder from now on. I honestly can't see him coming out and being anything other than prickly, defensive and bitter.

Our B team should be strong this week
-
Normally I'd say yes. But the guy is having an in public mental breakdown.
-
What the actual fuck do they expect to happen on Saturday? The atmosphere will be terrible. The team will be shit and we'll have squandered another must win game at the behest of Ankersen's ego. Madness.
-
There's got to be a difference between showing loyalty to a manager and keeping someone having a mental health episode in a highly charged environment
-
Wait, what? But their spending always seemed so reasonable
-
Now Lighthouse has merged the threads I feel confident it's happening today

Is this the part in the movie where they have a punch up, realise they are BFFs and then Brad Pitt goes on his 20 game winning streak?
