If we nail our front foot down we're going to get even worse at defending crosses.
-
Except we've all seen that video from our training ground 😉
-
He's on a hiding to nothing there. At worst he didn't need to say he's not ready for the first team. But right to wish him well.
-
The downside is they've both had a week being trained in Saints' tactics now.
-
Maybe the post match interview aggression stats?
-
He's a lot calmer than his last presentation. Which is a positive. - He says we believe in what we do. - He resisted some chances to answer fan criticism - He says the results aren't good enough - He says he did take responsibility at the weekend - He says the team is strong tactically - Just mentioned god giving him strength

I don't really buy the whole Nathan Jones inherited a shambles thing. This squad is stronger than last season. They'd been playing poorly. He had 5 weeks to instil his style of play. Now 3 months in no one is quite sure what that is. Other than Man City the performances haven't inspired confidence. One thing is for sure, Poch came in and had the team playing the way he wanted quickly. He didn't waste time or energy banging on about how he'd been great in his previous job or answering back. He didn't talk down his predecessor's team or his players. He got his team to do the talking for him on the pitch and won everyone over that way.

History tells us the ball comes back, slicing through our midfield who watch on as the runners into the box compete to score from crosses.
-
If we win what will his post match interview be like?
-
There can be only one Nathan.
-
Get this keeper in the 1st team.
-
Keep that fucker away from these kids.

What sorcery is this? Our passing is so crisp.

I'm having a lot of my in-built prejudices reinforced by this guy too.

I believe @Saint Garrett first said it on Sunday morning.
-
Given the sources - I tend to believe the Sunday morning bust up at training but not about players training on their own. That being said I haven't had experience of charlie's ITKness. I am both happy and unhappy to be proven wrong on both of these.

Normally I'd say this is a nailed on 1-0 win for Wolves where they'd hit us on the break. There's nothing to break against right now as Jonesball seems to involve giving the ball away, inviting pressure and being overrun in midfield. So I'm going with 4-0 to Wolves with a Lemina hattrick because Saints seem able to bring out the worst in any situation right now.

Ankersen has watched Moneyball enough to know what happens next. I cannot believe people are doubting him. We've had the low of last weekend but it's all montage from here, baby.
-
Much as I don't think he should be manager of Saints I sincerely hope he's getting the care he needs right now. I worry that keeping in a situation that he's not handling well is harmful for him.

Epilogue: Someone tries to make the children feel bad about the dog's death by putting together a contrived fable on an Internet forum.
-
A mother buys a dog for Christmas after reading about its xJ (expected joy) for children being among the best in Europe. It yaps constantly and shits everywhere. When people ask the dog not to shit everywhere it bites them. The mother finally relents and has the dog put down but everything and everyone are left covered in shit and dog bites. The children murder their mother in her sleep.

Agree with that and that our (lack of) on pitch leadership is a whole other bag of snakes
-
That's not what I'm saying. If he's not seeing effort on the pitch go and tell them on the pitch.
