  1. I think Juric's style needed at least a pre-season to bed in his ideas and get them working. Saying that, these sorry sacks of shit didn't want to put in the hard work and yards that came with that style. Though it's also on SR for bringing him with a completely different playing style.
  2. Any news? Or is it just all fart and no shit?
  3. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2026/terem-moffi-and-jeremie-boga-take-steps-to-terminate-ogc-nice-contracts/ Were we not rumoured with Moffi a few seasons back?
  4. I think it's admirable people think we'll be comfortably mid table, at least they haven't completely sucked the hope out of some of us. I really think we'll struggle. It's 100% on the players to turn things around and decide they want to play and put up a good showing, for a respectable finish. It won't be down to the coaches, with their lack of experience and probable lack of respect from the players, let's be honest. I haven't seen enough this season from the players that they actually want to kick on and do well. If rumours are to be believed, about wanting an easy ride in training, days off, back to the ways of old under Russ, then they'll get exactly what they deserve. Hard work is what's needed. You can't get by on talent alone. And unless they're willing to pull their finger out and graft, we'll struggle.
  5. Probably still quicker getting it forward than this lot 🙄
  6. I think the time to show his value to the squad as come and gone. He's been at the club for 14/15 years, and some of our worst times have been under his 'leadership'. If we're honest, he's only the captain because he's been here the longest, and maybe because he pumps and waves his arms more than the rest of the meek lot we have. It's certainly not for bollocking players when needed, or marshalling the back line, as a center half captain should.
  7. So basically what some (including myself) were speculating about previously, having bad apples and major negative influences around the squad. This was around the time of the Nixon post and subsequent sacking of Still. If the rumours are still persisting, there was obviously something to it initially. It's fucking disgraceful if it is the case. You can see that the effort on the pitch from those players isn't there, but for it to come out in the media like they've got some knobhead jolly club going on, and that dictates how things are running at squad level is abhorrent.
  8. It's like having the choice between stepping in dog shit, and stepping in cow shit.
  9. Not the players, evidently.
  10. Would really love to see us go back to a 4231. Bragg/Jander as the Schneiderlin type playmaker. Downes/Ori as the Wanyama Ball-winner. Cbs that don't prick around too much. Full backs that get forward and hold the width. Wingers that tuck in and help in the box. Wasn't so long ago that we looked decent week in week out playing like that.
  11. Alright, enough is enough. Bazunu cannot seriously be this shit by accident. Definitely some betting/Grobbelaar type bullshit going on.
  12. Manning, scared of crosses.
  13. Welington off, but Dracula stays on? 🙄🙄🙄
