Forest were poor. We were worse. We have nothing up front. KWP is head and shoulders above everyone else. Subs looked ok for the short time they were on. Rest of the season will be a hard watch.

We played well first half. Shouldn’t have gone in 1-0 down at half time but we did. Should have been able to score twice in the second half against 10 men when we’d played so well against 11 in the first half.. but we didn’t. Newcastle defended well and we couldn’t find the net. We could end up with most goals conceded in Premier league history stat. Not due to the quality of players but this terrible style they are being asked to implement under RM.

It will be Lambertesque without putting the shifts in in the lower leagues. A season or two in the prem. Works his socks off and scores for fun. Liverpool come in with a bumper fee. Well done Russ. Got it spot on again today. Leeds didn’t give us the chance to play our usual over-passing game and we looked better for it. Maybe this is the type of football we’ll have to play in the prem and I’d be happy with that. If RM can adapt Russball to suit the Premier League, I’m happy with him at the helm. If he reverts back to over-playing at the back, we’ll pay the price. Good luck in the prem RM. No-one can say you haven’t earned your chance. I’ll give you 10 games before I intervene and let you know where you’re going wrong.. or not, hopefully! #We March On

Had to watch it in my phone at my nippers presentation night. From what I could see, looked totally dominant first half. Missed the first goal but we looked a little less in control second half but still the better side. Looked like the performance we needed. Let’s hope for more of the same in the final! Need a positive team selection from RM. Expecting a fast start to this one. Lots of energy, moving the ball about quickly with some incisive passing through the midfield, topped off with some superbly executed finishing. …Hopefully Saints will get back into it second half. 😂

I don’t see control or dominance though. I see a team that dicks around with the ball for too long in dangerous areas and gets itself in trouble far too often. I get the concept but it’s flawed. You need Sheik Yamoolah’s cash to buy the type of players capable of playing well this way.. especially in the Prem. I don’t know what the answer is but this style of play will make for a pretty miserable season next year if we do get promoted. I don’t foresee many wins against far better opponents.

We are soooo boring to watch! The only excitement is when we cock up our own endless back passing. RM & SR won’t be here forever though.. and I’ll be happy to resign this era to a bad memory Bore draw. Could have been worse. Onward and upward. .
