Away games I've been to have very good support, the problem is the football on the pitch is so boring fans just get fed up. No matter how much noise fans generate nothing gets the players running faster or passing quicker forward. Inability to shoot on edge of box gets groans and so boring. We need exciting , direct, fast football not analytics paint drying.
