Russ Ball relies on opponents being as slow as we are when doing this tactic. It needs space and time do compare all the pointless passing. I would prefer to have a manager that doesn't use possession football in an important game. Some of the football was just nonsense at Millwall. We won't appointment an old school type manager so I fully expect another possession based modern manager who ever it is. I can see why St Mary's has gone quieter and its not going to change in next 4 seasons if coaches continue to havd the goalkeeper as thd starting point for playing out the back.

Need to develop a plan B that works without Scienza and anyone else out. We cant play like the Millwall game again.
