Stupid, its like just locking 3 of the 4 doors on a car then some chav robs your car, or 2 points.
-
The benefits are you can attack quickly and score. The negative is if you don't play a fast break game and have players like Chelsea had when they won title playing 3 at back then you just let too many goals in. What's wrong with 4-4-2. I'm too old for modern football just don't see the point in leaving just 3 at back or 5 at back with no one up front getting the ball. Whike I'm at it the stupid 5 subs is just as pointless.

I'm still keen kn thd game being called off, maybe China can hack in and Sabotage the ticket app and swap it with the food and drink app.

More forward passes and long balls that's the difference with teams above. If your not aggressive enough and play to protect your weaknesses ie defence then you'll end up mid table all the time. We have also wasted time getting players in rather than selling ASAP. The annoying thing is we have handed the momentum to Pompey going into Sunday. With all the new faces I don't think they will have what's needed as new to the club. We will end up playing the game as any other game. 3-3, we definitely can score but can't keep goals out.

Saints are a soft team, we need all the players at back to be aggressive, on front foot, clearance defenders, read whats a head and those in front to sort it. Watford are a good indicator of where we are, similar to them, there is always a chance to score but allways let goals in.

Fuck a draw, ffs

Liverpool vs Saints - Tues 23rd Sept 8pm

Top 6 teams should play each other, give other teams a chance. They just buy titles and cups. -
Most clubs are player factories that's how they keep afloat. With ridiculously high wags for playing a game clubs like Saints are a selling club. And it will only get worse. Don't think we have kept hold of any top class player in last 5 years. Saints are also a stepping stone club, playercome here to to take tgd next transfer to develop. That's the worry I have with local derby games as most players don't have any affiliation to Saints so its not a priority. Or been here long enough to realise it a derby v Pompey.

Whats the basic allocation, at least 4,200 ? -
Off to WHU, oh well that means more draws unless we can replace him. £40m
-
Saints 2 nil win, need to keep momentum going from Norwich game. Get some decent shooting practice in.

Approx 41 coaches, or less if use double decker buses. I don't think we had that many on the bubble to Fratton. -
5 at back would be perfect for us providing the opposition has 2 players sent off.
-
Sargent is a big threat, Norwich another possession team with 500 plus passes. With a bit of luck this will be one of the biggest bore draws of the season and Saints can nick a goal in 95th min. Of course if both teams leave out many players then who knows.
-
Are there any players that haven't been coached to play possession football, stop at the opposition box , square the side to side, don't shoot first time but look left right then left again? If not just keep the money and get some decent recliner arm chairs installed.
-
I honestly think Saints have employed tennis or golf consultants no one knows anything about football. The tactics don't match the players, the players can't play the tactics or the are playing last seasons tactics. 1st half then 2nd half player changes etc etc. Had plenty of time since end season to sort out.
-
Really, how is that possible. Must be fake news or AI.
-
We don't have any.
-
Be very surprised if we get promoted. Team plays a very weak and negative style to compete. Struggled v Wrexham and Stoke got lucky at Ipswich. No real game plan and walking pace is hardly top 6. Mid table as too late to get players in as club sleep walking each day or on EA25 fantasy land.
-
Bradford, Martin, Still, Saints back 3 what more do you need. Sounds like a prog rock band.
-
We have more chance of losing v Pompey than just even drawing. RM playing at back and risky passing, 400 to 700 passes then opposition just boot ball in box or run through entire team is just ridiculous to copy. May as well have RM back. Crosses to smallest players! Lose to Pompey and that indicates the level of the club we are at.
-
I guess the club's plan to get promoted must be in 2 to 4 seasons as the basic for any team is to score lots of goals first, unless the target is to avoid relegation then its a draw first and maybe a lucky break and get a goal. I'm completely baffled by our game plan, 1st vs 2nd half, run the last 10 mins, pass sideways even if last kick of game. The setup and thinking is just a mess. Its like the drinks and food self service looks good on paper but doesn't work

It will happen very soon, he'll be off and Saints will wait till next season to get any players, by then it will be too late.
