  1. I really want to be positive… ….but unless we spend like 100mil this week it’s gonna be a very difficult season. And there’s more chance of Ross Stewart kicking a football than us spending that sort of money.
  2. Comfortable, easy saints win. Not sure what all the fuss is about
  3. Importance: 1) Goalkeeper 2) Striker 3) DM
  4. Would take him back in a heartbeat. Works hard, good attitude, still fast. Good cross. Dunno why people are being overly harsh on him, he had a great season and is easily good enough for a PL squad. Will always look lively off the bench. Signing him on a free is a no brainer for me.
  5. Would be one of our best signings in recent history if we can pull it off. He’s an absolutely brilliant keeper. Would love it to happen.
  6. This has to be the biggest hopium I’ve ever seen
  7. Winners: city top 4: arsenal, villa, spurs Saints: surprise people, things click, 12-15th Relegated: Leicester, Everton, Forest
  8. I really hope this is some sort of joke. Wtf is that
  9. Who?
  10. There’s nothing to be negative about this season really We will be massive underdogs in almost every game so may as well back the lads and just enjoy what we can Also the Championship is more fun anyway so if we go down it doesn’t matter.
  11. Are you high? Che worse than Mara? On what planet?
  12. Is Mara actually worse than guido Carrillo? At least Carrillo actually ran and I saw him hold the ball up once. Mara is fucking embarrassing I have to say it’s pretty close. How we have signed two of the worst strikers I have ever seen so close to each other is really baffling. Horrific footballer
  13. Yeah.. if it’s strength work you can do that anywhere. Im sure there are squat racks in Spain.
  14. That was fucking terrible. Watched that in a bar on holiday full of Sunderland fans. They’re a good bunch actually but they gave me a lot of shit 😂. I thought they’d have an OK season after that but nothing ever seems to go right for them
  15. Thanks Che. Always worked hard. Feels like a good time to part ways as we need better in the PL. But I wish him well which is more than I can say for a lot of players from the relegation season.
  16. Yeah it’s suspect. If they were really just taking their time with him, he’d be training in Spain. Basically have zero strikers at the club going into the Premier League. Not good.
  17. Would be good to get an update from the club tbh. I assume he is injured yet again as I don’t see why he would miss the first friendly otherwise…
  18. Anyone know where he was today? Is he injured again?
  19. Love this guy already. Hopefully his performances in the PL are as good as his attitude. I completely agree with @Turkish. We seem to have players this season that are decent blokes. One of the painful parts of the relegation season wasn’t just that we went down - it was that most of the squad seemed like tossers who didn’t care. Very hard to support that.
  20. Fucking hell, genuinely spat my tea out laughing at this 😂
  21. Bearing in mind that their manager at the time was the football anti-Christ, David Moyes. He couldn’t spot a good footballer if you dropped him in the bernabeu. He goes for players that kick lumps out of you over actual talent. West Ham’s decision is quite clearly wrong. They’ll regret it in a season or two.
  22. He will. Best CM since Schneiderlin for me
  23. I like them, just wish the criminal sponsor badge was a bit smaller Ruins the whole shirt
  24. I’m not saying he’s a great manager. Clearly he has his limitations. I agree that he’s taken us as far as he can (I actually would have pulled the trigger after the World Cup personally) But he has done extremely well and given us a team to be proud of which is more than most other England managers in my life time. He clearly loves the country and the job and has changed things for the better. Now definitely feels like the right time for a change, but I will always be grateful to him and sad that he didn’t achieve the final goal of silverware.
  25. Klopp is best choice. But doubt he’ll take it. Id go for Howe or Pochettino if Klopp is unavailable. Very sad at this news. Southgate has a lot of flaws and we have all been quick to point them out. But he is a top, top bloke who has been a massive success when you look at our results. The truth is this period may have been our best ever spell. The new manager may fail to get us out of the groups again like previous years. I hope we bring in an attacking manager who can get the best out of our players and take us to the next level.
