It’s been said a few times recently, but the standards at the club are pathetically low. WTF is going on? Have they forgotten there’s a game on? No wonder they’re unfit, all they do is have days off and go on Christmas piss ups. Joke of a club.

He’s actually a pretty good player and could have made a difference if he was here. Downes has been hung out to dry on his own. Loaning him out was a good move, if we had replaced him. Instead we had a moron in charge asking Downes to be Rodri. Downes needs help.

If he’s still available we should go for him for sure next season. Would love to have a championship title run with a proper manager. That’s the only positive I can cling to atm.

Excellent post. They have been a complete and utter shambles so far. Dragan has to be embarrassed. Imagine spending all this money only to be breaking records for how shit we are. Heads need to roll at every level. Unfortunately it seems that they’re happy to plod along. Not sure where we go from here. At least it’s never dull being a saints fan.

What I can’t stand is the condescension from the club and Martin himself. Yes, we have never been the most successful club. But we have had some genuine world class managers and players here, so we know good football when we see it. Trying to tell us to be happy with the utter dog shit we are being forced to watch is absolutely pathetic. He has been completely found out. Tactically he is nowhere near premier league level. Many of us knew it from the very start of his tenure. It was right to give him a chance after he got us up. But he’s failed his audition spectacularly. The worst premier league manager of all time. Martin is very very good at trying to subtley deflect the blame in the media. He’s a master of pretending to be accountable, whilst redirecting the blame elsewhere. It’s clear he’s trying to paint a picture in the media that he is a genius and then players are letting him down.

It’s easy for me. I didn’t get a season ticket this year as I have other commitments. I was planning to go to a lot of games anyway. But I simply won’t now. The club are treating the fans like complete mugs. Beyond a joke

They remind me of us under Pochettino. Shows what a massive difference a good manager can make to a fairly average squad.
