And still the best advice anyone thinking about moving to the US will ever get.....If you're not careful you could end up like Billy no mates Ohio Saint, who mixes up his skinheads and rednecks, thinks all his neighbors and co workers are dumb and couldn't even find a party to watch a game during the last world cup.

I understood the line the first time...and here's the deal...There have been very few, if 'any' legacy sponsors left at the club during this accounting period, it's just a smoke screen to hide their inaction and/or incompetence. There's still no stadium naming sponsor, the current undervalued shirt sponsor was 100% down to this lot, as is the empty hospitality suites. There's also been a change in betting and technology partners, beer suppliers and a whole load of other partners and yet despite their rhetoric have barely been able to improve on the deals Cortase brought in while we were in League 1 and the Championship. Don't expect the US to be the answer either...Red and White candy stripes with a kids crayon contest club badge are not going to gather much support here. Cortese knew it and made the huge and unpopular decision to drop the stripes and adjust the badge to make the Club more marketable in the US and other area's...This lot preferred to pander to a couple of thousand enraged nerds and reversed the change, now we're stuck with the consequences. No coincidence Chivas USA, the only MLS team in red and white stripes crashed and burned and were closed down last year due to lack of support. This weekend i watched the USA v Mexico game at the home of the NOLA chapter of the American Outlaws, 70-80 American soccer fanatics, all had a EPL team they supported and not one of them was Southampton....Plenty of big club fans there but also a mix of West Ham, Swansea, West Brom and Villa, not one single fan of a team in red and white stripes that i heard.

But it was OK for him to slate the previous CEO as failing in the commercial revenue area when was stuck with all the legacy sponsors from our rapid rise from League one and the championship? The fact is, Wreck it has failed miserably in his prime responsibility of increasing commercial revenue!....i see peeps on here celebrating the fact it's increased by 21%...Are you freaking kidding me? a whole TWO million pound increase in commercial revenue since we came up from the championship and our first year in the Premier League? TWO million, despite a 8th and 7th place finish and a 'huge' increase in the exposure and popularity of the Premier League around the world.....A league that deals in 'Billions' and people think 'TWO' million is a success story?....just how gullible are people on here? If i was the owner he would be gone by the end of the day...mind you i would have never hired him in the first place.

That's because we're not like you and have no desire to be like you either......Like I've said before, How you live on your island is your business. but accept that other people in other countries have different ideals and values, which is exactly why you struggle with your "expectations"...you expect every one to be just 'you' Take a look at Piers Morgan, a limey who came to the US thinking his UK culture had any kind of value in the US and ended up being one of the most despised people in the media even the liberal blow hards NBC had to fire him in the end

Just google "Oregon shooter born in England" are they all wrong? As for me?...Not sure why there seems to be such a frenzy from so many peeps to know more, but I've been posting on this board and it's various predecessors with this username since around 2001, hell, i still even have the PM from Legg when he banned me for being anti Mike Wild and an infraction from Exit2 for voicing an opinion he didn't like about the Saints Trust. something i was right about on both counts btw. (time for trousers to give me another medal) But as you can see, plenty of Limeys do seem to have a problem with an alternative view point. During the time I've been posting here I've mentioned plenty about my self so it's out there. As for hand wringing in the US?....As far as I'm concerned they're still liberal hand wringers and although i 100% disagree with any further gun control, i 100% back their right to wring their hands until their palms bleed, if that's what they want to do. Further gun control will not make one iota of difference to any form of gun crime, whether it be drug gangs, robbers or loner loonies they already have all the weapons they need and will 'always' be able to obtain more whenever they want and they really wont give a **** about having an extra rap of carrying an illegal firearm tacked onto the end of the homicide charge and most the loner loonies know they're not coming out alive anyway so how much of a deterrent do you think that would be?... I've had to submit to a background check every time I've purchased a firearm because I've purchased them new from stores, i could have equally purchased a used gun from my neighbor or someone on Craigslist with no background check....Now if i was to go out and commit a crime with one of those firearms do you think It would make much difference which gun i chose to use? Take a look at the most anti gun Cities in the US, Chicago New York, LA, all with the most draconian gun laws and guess what?...yup they also have some of the highest gun violence in the Country and unarmed citizens now at the mercy of armed thugs....Only thing gun control does is infringe 2nd amendment rights and make hand wringing liberals feel better about them selves. As for what i would do about the Mass shootings? TBH I'm not sure, there's clearly a mental health issue involved and than needs a lot more focus than it's currently getting, so I'd say it's time for the liberals to drop their frenzied anti gun agenda which is currently drowning out everything else and start to focus on the real issues...then we might start to get somewhere.

I totally agree with you about 'Wreck it Ralph' being a bell end, I've been saying it from day one, but why do you think there's any possibility he maybe great behind the scenes?.. From what i can see, there's zero tangible evidence to suggest he's done a damned thing since his appointment as Chairman. His brief was to significantly increase "commercial revenue" So after 18 months in the job, where's the announcements for these ground breaking deals? I never believed he was up to it for a minute, most decent businessmen can smell bull**** a mile away, but i would have thought there would have been at least 'some' expectation from some of our more gullible fan base who lapped it all up at the time? after all, "commercial revenue" was one of the sticks used to beat Cortese after he left. Maybe someone could ask the question at the fans forum?
-
Indeed...It's none of my god damned business.....But unlike the hand wringing in the UK over US gun control, I'm not advocating that limeys should change their ways. I could care less what they do or how they made the UK one of the most violent places in the civilized world or how long it takes the UK to become a full blown Islamic state...It's how they want to live so fair enough, not for me to judge and certainly no reason to rant like you proclaim. But they do need to keep all their home grown terrorist's within the UK........We've already had Sally Anne Jones publicizing a Navy Seal's home address and calling for his assassination, then we have the 14 and 15 yr olds freely running around inciting terrorist attacks in other Countries, hell even Mercer, the Oregon shooter was a British export...So excuse me if i, like many other just keep half an eye on what's going on over there.
-
I see the whiney limey hand wringers are out in force today....doing what ya'll do best.......What part of 'It's none of your god damned business don't ya'll understand? I'd have thought you'd have more important things closer to home to worry about no? What about the ongoing Islamic colonization of the UK and all the 15 year old terrorist's you already have there walking the streets?...What are your Grand and Great Grand kids going to think of ya'll when they're born into shiria Law?...You may shout and scream rubbish etc....but your already way beyond the tipping point...Muslims are out breeding you nearly 3 -1, already 10% of kids under 5 are Muslim and more come into your country every day, while more and more educated and traditionally Cristian folk are leaving. within 20 years there will be a sizable enough Muslim minority to dictate or drastically influence Government policy in the UK....In 50 years the UK is more likely to resemble Pakistan than anything any Limey would recognize from 20 years back...Hell last time i was in London and Birmingham it was already the case! only thing that was familiar were inanimate objects, buildings, buses etc.....other than that i could have been in Baghdad....No multi culturism, just one culture.....and it wasn't English for sure But hey, you guys carry on wringing your hands over something that doesn't concern you half way round the world.
-
Maybe you could explain why you think a guy just doing a job should put his own life at a greater risk than it already was when he responded to a firearms call?......The perp had his chances and opted out....I guess in your eye's he need a 7th or 8th chance until he finally gets to shoot someone? Once again...this is not the UK and never will be....Here, the very bedrock of freedom is based on personal responsibility and consequences....You guys chose a different route, a victim culture and a near totalitarian state to track and keep people in line......Ya'll seem very comfy with it, so fair enough. But you need to realize you're not the Worlds dictator or moral compass just one of the 190 odd countries that occupy this planet and a very small one at that....Special mention here to Guardian link above....talk about up your own asses...a website dedicated to keeping a running count of shootings in a foreign country even including including race!...Wonder how many hand wringing limey liberals print that out and take that to bed at night....Micky? In the mean time we'll stick with our version of freedom even with some of its consequences, if that's alright with you guys of course?
-
Would look good in a movie for sure. but in real life?.....Yeah you're right...it's a crazy idea....I'm guessing you're going to volunteer along with Micky to walk up to the next shooter, who happens to be sat in a wheel chair and wrestle him to the ground and disarm him.
-
It's all about taking personal responsibility for your actions and accepting the consequences.....If you pull a gun on a cop you're going to suffer the consequences. Sitting in a wheel chair would not impede anyone from pulling a trigger, he had enough warnings to put his hands up and was moving them around enough for the cops to know he was capable of doing so....Next time there's a wheel chair bound shooter about, how about you volunteer to be the one to walk up to him and make the arrest?
-
LOL..I just used your own words and comments from previous post's of yours over the years....You've been following me around and taking pot shots since the year dot...the first time i respond to you on a personal level you implode.......They say the truth hurts
-
15 years you've spent *****ing about the US and how its not the UK and how your neighbors and work colleagues are "dumb yanks" and just about every other stereotypical insult you could come up with...and you wonder why you have no friends and your neighbors and work colleagues "view you with suspicion".... You are 'that' pompous limey that so many people around the world have so much contempt for...the Piers Morgan who had his ass fired and sent back to blighty with his tail between his legs
-
Just for your info...We do bear arms without Automatics...They came under Gun control legislation in 1934 and subsequently banned from general sale and possession in 1986 (yes the trend is real) Only the bad guys own and use automatics these days...Gun control working just like the liberals said it would.

Governments in general are a great thing, with out them we would have anarchy. Government also need to understand and remember that 'they' are here to serve 'we the people'...not the other way round...Something that seems to have been long forgotten over that side of the pond where Government has taken on a Nanny and Boss role in people's lives...Hell, even here the Government needs reminding from time to time that they're not the ‘Boss’ and are there to serve..... Nevada Citizens standing up to overreaching Federal Government Speed limits are also a great thing, just because someone has the freedom to own a vehicle, it doesn’t give them the right to use it recklessly and in a way that would endanger other people....Kinda like owning a firearm... I have the freedom and right to own and carry a firearm just like my truck, but I’d be breaking the law if I were to use it recklessly and start shooting in my neighbors direction or endangering other people and quite right too...Unless of course that "other people" is climbing through my bedroom window at 3am then all bets are off....and the Law, at least in Louisiana and other southern States will be there to back me, whatever the outcome....and Damned right too. @Ohio saint...LOL If a local City/State law re carrying a pack of cigarette papers is all you have to worry about your not doing to bad.....Maybe you should consider giving the Clinton family lessons in hair splitting US troops are well traveled as you put it because we have allies to support and our own interests to look after...simple as that and just a reminder.....this is a 47 page thread of limeys pointing and sneering at the US...not the other way round ...I couldn't give a damn how they live their lives or if it's even worth living under their Nanny state or not...That's how they want to live, fair enough, but it's not for me, that's why I'm here and not there and i don't think you'll find too many other people over here who give a damn either.
-
You share?.....What part of the American declaration of Independence don't you understand? did history completly pass you by? or are you so stuck up your self that you believe everything involves you?....OK sounds like you need this nice and simple....What happens in the USA has **** all to do with you, nothing, nadda, and until you get to vote and pay taxes here, it never will.... As for your vacations here, you're always at liberty to visit somewhere else more to your understanding and liking. And just to be totally clear. most of us who do vote and pay our taxes here are perfectly happy owning firearms and are happy to take personal responsibility for way they're used....Just a reminder for ya....Its called Freedom. Oh' and here's a little bit of info for you to help shed a little more light on your ignorance... There is no single "American culture"....This country is huge and diverse..You can barely compare living in New York with New Orleans or Las Vegas with Washington DC, Mississippi with New Jersey and then you have the Hispanic cultures of the South West no comparison with Washington further up the West Coast....We all have different laws and live in a diverse way, so if you can't even comprehend the basics, your so called "educated" opinion aint even worth a ****. Now haven't you got anything better to do, like reporting your neighbor for dropping recyclable cardboard in his garbage can? I mean that's what you limeys do over there isn't it?....Sure scum like that would deserve some jail time for a such a hideous crime
-
The British totalitarian State at it's finest......I'm sure you'll all be out celebrating tonight, i mean he could have had someone's eye out with that toy, just as well he's behind bars and with a criminal record for life...just what the scum deserved
-
The Royal 'We" eh?....Here's some news for ya buddy.....I don't give a **** whether you and your 'we' friends "welcome" my opinions on here or not and last time i checked, i didn't need 'your' permission to comment about 'our' soccer team here either, so you may as well get used to it, or put me on ignore up to you either way. Oh, and 10/10 for powers of observation.....Yes, both New Orleans and Southampton have sports teams call the Saints...well done. @Jonnyboy....bumchum eh?....Is that how your typical limey responds to an opinion they don't like......just hurl abuse?...kinda explains a lot.
-
Hell yeah! GO TRUMP 16!
-
Why would that be bad news?....That would be win win all round....Katrina gets to enjoy her Fathers millions in peace and luxury and we get an owner who would be ambitious and committed enough to pay the asking price.....Would be awesome news for me....Hope the Skate has reliable contacts.

Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
Saint George replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
I believe the first draft was so derisory it caused the Wanyama crises in the first place...Yet another happy and settled player wanting to get the hell out out of Dodge the moment they have direct dealings with Reed and Rodgers...The list continues to grow and grow -
CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
Saint George replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
There's no comparison really....It's easy to be magnanimous when you can loose your best players every year and still be guaranteed to win your league and qualify for Champions League entry at the end of every season. Saints on the other hand are trying to ascend a ladder that is sinking in quicksand as fast or faster than we're climbing.....And each player we sell to other teams in our league makes that quicksand just a little soggier. -
Let's not forget the board of fools got rid of Jason Dodd and Paul Williams, who had been doing a freaking awesome job of preparing the Academy lads for the first team...kinda all dried up since then
-
Na...i'm beyond giving a **** now...maybe you could get off your ass and do something?...maybe even just stand a little clear of Les's urine running down your neck would be a start
-
Only thing that shocked me, is how everyone is so surprised!....I can't believe 99% of our fanbase have been so oblivious to what's been happening at the Club over the last 18 months....This was always going to happen when we have have an owner here by default with 'zero' experience in even running a tea shop, who then promotes 2 people into key positions way beyond their ability and then appoints a Chairman who.......well i don;t need to say anymore on that subject. C'mon, was there really no one else that could see the approaching train wreck?....Did y'all think the momentum and belief at Club built up by Cortese, Adkins and Potchettino was going to last forever with this lot running the show? really? It's only going to continue to get worse unless there's some drastic changes at the top and trust me, I take no pleasure in predicting the way things have gone...in fact for the first time in 45 years of watching Saints I've been numb this season...no emotion at all, zero...I guess that's down to having 18 months to prepare for the inevitable.
