Need a bit more composure. Scienza needs to keep his width he's dropping deep and narrow and getting lost/caught in posession a lot. On the whole we're fine, second goal will calm the nerves. Kind of game that is calling out for JWP to impose a measure of control in midfield.

Come to see if the bedwetting was as rife here as on twitter. Fortunately things seem a bit more level headed. Abbott seems a sensible signing to me, provides good cover for Breezy if needed (I think we're much lighter here than CB) And given we just dicked Millwall 5-1 with Wood and Schlotterbeck I'd be surprised to see him as a nailed on starter. Reading comments from Forrest fans and they've all been very positive. Happy to see what he can bring. I do think we may well go back in for Falchner too, especially if we've managed to turn his head.

Not sure I could survive Wood at LCB for more than 2 games.

Does the worm as a cele? Sign him up!

THB was always going to be the one to leave this window. He was our biggest asset, regardless of Shea going earlier. JWP for less than a mill is a steal and If we can get Falchner in for less than £10M then the team have done a cracking job of min/maxing their fees. Hopefully it frees up a little more capital for any 'Luxury' signings before the close of the window ala Scienza last year.

These are the decisions a responsibly run (question marks about this I know haha) club has to make aren't they? Is Mubama a gamble... maybe? But is he more of a gamble than £20M on Lankshire? Probably not.
-
What I'm saying is if we wanted Lankshire and the finances weren't an issue I'm sure we would have got it done. I do think there will be more business done but not until we've moved people on.
-
Mubama seems a shrewd signing to me, high potential and ideal back up. We're clearly expecting Larin will kick on this season and pick up where he left off. Fortunately a great deal of our goals come from elsewhere in the team, I think this is down to how Tonda sets us up. Azaz being joint top scorer speaks to this and Dobbin looks an exciting prospect in that regard. I suspect it's going to be very quiet until we've got a lot of players moved on now. Perhaps a few last minute loan signings for added depth still to come. Can't see us doing anything until we move on Downs, BBD and possibly Edozie and Archer.

Adore the crest. I know many are sentimental but our current crest feels like the fan submission it was in today's era. I'd love to see us adopt the city crest again given we're a one club city.
-
Dobbin done. Sounds from his interview like he's adding depth/competition for Finn in the 10 as expected.
-
Yep. Profile of player we're looking at definitely screams moneyball. £7-10M bets spread across overlooked or high potential talent. 23 Years old both Dobbin and Azon too. Perhaps we've learnt our lesson on going too young and switched filters 😂

I know we all love xG chat here. He massively underperformed with an xG of 11.20. At the least this shows he gets into good positions and has something about him. If we can get him finishing we might have a diamond in the rough.

Watching Wood get the ball stuck under his feet gives me heart palpitations.

Breezy is a modern cult hero. Just gets on with the job and fans love him for it. Glad to see everything turn out the way it has after Mad Nate's words about him 'Not wanting to go back to Southampton'.

Sad to see Ross leave in this way but getting Cyle signed early softens the blow and it does mean we can look forward to a new forward signing. Breezy signing up another 3 years is massive. He's still getting better and better and is so consistent. I'm sure we've got a couple more big name departures coming but we've done so well to get Larin, Peretz and Breezy sorted nice and early. I have a feeling we might just keep Leo you know. Age and contract status are favourable and he seems like the type who may just reward us with some loyalty (Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic but we will see). Feels like this will be one of the more stable windows we will have had in recent memory.
