Like conceding goals from shots that should probably be saved? And thereby costing us points? But he can pass it about needlessly to his centre backs a bit better, which don’t result in us scoring goals more often than he concedes shots at his own goal. Utter genius.
-
It’s clearly not picked on performances or actual effectiveness and ability to stop the opposition scoring goals, that much is clear. But more because our owners are desperate for their investment to work, their pet project.
-
I did say that Tonda won’t change a thing regardless of results. We could lose 5-0 tonight and New Year’s Day will be the same players and the same formation, and the same keeper. Hes going to stick with this way regardless of results.
-
The QPR goal could be argued to be a glaringly stupid error, but other than that he’s just rolling along nicely doing what he does best and diving a second too late for any shot into the corner of the goal.

That summer was unbelievable for recruitment even by our standards. Baz, Larios , Edozie , among others, all signed to be regulars in a premier league team. if that doesn’t show everyone just how out of their depth and clueless this lot are with judging what’s required to create a competitive squad for the league we are in at the time, then nothing will. Absolutely shambolic, and that’s being kind.

I look forward to our victory tomorrow then. Lovely stuff

Rasmus at his egotistical best, or worst
-
There won’t be any change of formation , it will still be 5 at the back, quarshie for Stephens again I expect the only possibly change, and exactly the same side other than that, with our Sport Republic poster boy still in goal , still letting any half decent shot past him. Can’t wait.

He definitely won’t do it because it’s not what SR want, and they’re in charge hence the distinction of deliberately naming him “head coach” rather than manager, which Still was titled as.
-
It’s actually incredible the amount of money we keep needing to throw at this squad just to get it into the top half of the championship table, in order to merely negate and net off the effect of the abysmal management of the football side of things
-
Again this all stems from the overall culture inside the club that is dictated by the way the club is run by the owners. They’re allowing the players to constantly dictate which manager they want to play for, and to kick up a fuss when and throw their toys out when a new manager actually gets tough and tries to ruffle a few feathers. The owners are the absolute root cause of the rotten underperforming culture at this football club and need to leave before it shows any signs of improving
-
Yep, we are roughly where our performances and lack of playing as a cohesive team are dictating - mid table. And I don’t expect that to change by the end of the season. You need roughly 75 points to get into the playoffs as a benchmark, we will fall at least 10 points short of that in my opinion
-
I’d be amazed if he’s ever dropped under Tonda. Just can’t see it happening. The main initial priority between tonda and SR the moment he was appointed was to shoehorn Baz straight back in as number 1. Doubt his continual non prevention of saveable goals will get in the way of SR’s long term dream to be proven right that Baz was a good signing and not a horrific waste of money
-
At least if we do go down we can be told he’s “fine for league one”
-
Yeah he did, I’ve never actually said otherwise personally. I’d take that every day of the week over what’s Happening this season , and I’d hope anyone else would too given we had about 12 more points at this stage
-
The only prior manager we could compare him to is Russell Martin, being he was the only other manager managing at the same level, ie the championship. Russell Martin didn’t ever lose 3 away games in a row in the league. The other managers managed at premier league level, so we could use those stats, but they’d not be comparing like with like as the premier league is a whole level up, and as we didn’t have a squad worth comfortably more than 95% of the teams in the premier league, so it isn’t a valid comparison. But then of course you knew that. Any more queries I’ll be happy to clear them up for you Jordan
-
What on earth are you going on about now? YOU picked a one game sample today, being Sheff Utd loss at Wrexham in isolation today, as an example that having an experienced manager doesn’t always work? I then pointed out a 46 game sample from last season then a 17 game sample from This season under said manager, showing that he’s actually done well in that time period, over a much longer sample selection, thus dispelling your point in this particular case. So you’re either trying to be a smart arse and trolling, or you’re thick as fuck.
-
Not sure but they’re not the manager now so they’re pretty irrelevant aren’t they? So why would anyone bother posting that. Focus on the present. What a bizarre response but no surprise when I see who’s posted it.
-
I didn’t say stick to the washing up, so at least criticise the person who said it. Look again at who said it, it wasn’t me. I’ve commented on what you actually said rather than the fact you’re a woman. I’ll await your apology on this
-
90 points last year and 26 points from 17 games this year when he inherited 0 points from 6 games? Yet you pick a one game sample? Come on Jordan I know you’re the clubs PR man but you’re better than that.

QPR (2-1) - performance - average/poor Charlton (5-1) - performance - excellent Millwall (2-3) - performance - poor Norwich (1-2) - performance - poor/ dreadful Oxford (1-2) - performance- dreadful 3 away defeats on the bounce and 4 poor performances out of his 5 away games to date. Worrying . None of these are against really top sides either: since Millwall beat us they’ve lost at home to hull and drawn at home to Ipswich. Starting to look like he hasn’t got a clue how to set up away from home at all, against anyone
-
Not only has he got zero experience, he’s also got fuck all experience behind him with his back room staff either: it’s an absolute mess but is anyone actually surprised that these owners continue to take the piss out of the fans of this club with terrible decision after terrible decision.
-
Maybe don’t make such clueless posts and actually think about what you’re posting first then? If you can’t link today’s defeat with the ineptitude of several of the in-game managerial decisions made today , then probably best to follow another sport.

Love how this fucking chump delays being interviewed until we are in the middle of a purple patch of form, then quickly wheels himself out for a nice cosy chat, and now is conveniently hunkered away during the inevitably shit results that have followed when his kindergarten manager, sorry “head coach” has inevitably started to struggle
-
Absolutely guarantee the next time we leave the championship under these owners, it will be to league one. And once there we will just conform to mediocrity too and settle ourselves into a cosy mid table position. Thats how bad these owners are, not a clue how to run an actual big football club and not the other noddy clubs they own. Treating Saints as a little experiment. Makes me sick
