  1. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/rest-of-country-told-to-be-more-like-place-everyone-hates-living-in-2013122082238 I agree with comments above from Verbal, Bateman et al, London is like driving in the fast lane, the provinces in comparison are bumbling along in the slow lane. The pace really is that much faster, travelling about, on the street, at the counter, I find Londoners (not tourists, bless them all) are very savy in general. Sometimes I come out of town wondering how our provincial towns and cities survive at all as they seem years behind in comparison! There are far less fat bloaters and old people about too, which I guess helps with the whole 'energy' thing. I dont think any of this is a good thing by the way and I would absolutely detest living there. Great for a day/night out, great to earn money 9-5, but a pretty grim existence living there on anything less than a decent professional salary. Is London sucking the life out of the UK? I think so, but that isnt the fault of the capital, more the ineptitude of our provinces. I am grateful to be living near enough to London to reep all the benefits it brings.
  2. And you are the godfather. Merry Christmas Glasgow_Saint all the way from Trujillo, I respect you and I value your contribution to this football forum above all others.
  3. Are you Santa in disguise? Fratton park will become a mill around their necks over the coming years. Joking aside it really is falling apart and the PDT have a maintenence budget about the size of a Tesco Express store. They have already had to close off sections of their ground as they could not get a safety certificate unless they did so. Alternatively they could have paid for the repairs, but as mentioned above, they have no maintenece budget! Bit by bit, fratton park really is falling down. IIRC we suspected their safety officer was turning a blind eye to many of the H&S issues at the fatpipes, with the terrible scenes in the West End recently I assume suspicions of ours will become a thing of the past, and that all H&S officers will be empowered to comdemm any building from the public they see fit, even if the bestest atmosphere in world football say otherwise. Merry Christmas Nutjobs
  4. a quintessentially British middle class institution (yes founded by Jewish folk..), it will be interesting how this pans out for them post Xmas as they could well have just alienated and upset a portion of their customer base! If the share price takes a hit as a result of this scandal, it will show that the middle classes have finally had enough of this nonsense, and we can all begin the long journey back to a common sense Britain. This isnt a PR metldown, this is an M&S PR meltdown Good idea!
  5. Just rewatched Mcinnes' rant on gambling and smoking (and general lame comments and jokes throughout) at the Barker presser, what a legend. A few additional crease marks in the jacket, a bit of dirt on the kness of his trousers and he would look like a full blown homeless alcoholic. What an absolute gem of this saga, up there with underwater casino man and sulaimin. I hope to see some footage of the xmas party... though for the love of god somebody consficate his keys.
  6. http://www.delfi.lt/verslas/verslas/a-paulauskas-reanimuoja-snoro-tyrima.d?id=63509894 http://sc.bns.lt/view/item.php?id=157011 Interesting start to the NY
  7. Terry's got the best furniture away in a lock-up. Absolute GOLD.
  8. LOL PMSL! Classic skates Love it, im sat on a long distance train, I never realised how amusing this glorious saga can be when reading in public etc, I now know how lord Trousers feels and all those coffee over keyboard posters. SHALALA And it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to find that the skates have been rigging their own games!
  9. Ive been reading up on it, looks like it could be a bit of hard work dealing in all these ccmmds/clines etc, very interesting read. Like the one above? Im not sure how they can stop the selling of a piece of electronics in the EU, im also not sure if they have the right to go around hunting users/hardware owners down (especially if you display the old - I revoke any or all implied right of access to this property - get out clause on your door, which I am led to understand stops any possible access for a TV license inspector outright?) All very interesting. I would love to be able to be able to watch Saints games on TV, it wouldnt stop me going to games, I will only do a small number of aways with or without Saints on the TV.
  10. If the Scots leave the union whilst keeping strong social and commercial ties, along with sorting our Glasgows financial district, I think they could do very well out of this. If the Scots were to vote 'YES' next year, and were to leave in a year or so after, would those from other parts of the union be able to move there before the change takes place, if they wanted to join Scotland? Dual nationality?
  11. Absolutely fantastic GWC
  12. The Lithuanian state lawyers are fighting to bring Vlad back to face charges, saying they wont torture him: http://www.businessweek.com/news/2013-11-20/lithuania-would-give-ex-snoras-owner-a-fair-trial-lawyer-says Just a couple of weeks left until the verdict on Vlad!
  13. will get drunk and angar then turn on his own? Who will he go for though? My money would be for him to get on the champers at the next away game, then to get animated at Whittinghams next defeat, Micha will try to be the voice of reason, getting a thump for the privilege Sweepstake?
  14. Better get used to that skates, you are tresspassing on other peoples land everytime you leave fortress fatpipes. PMSL
  15. The youth who have been sacrificed by government in this new age of 'austerity' will not forget these days. They will grow older, their naivety will fade as they wise up and rise up. The youth will lead the revolution and the middle classes will follow. Russel Brand will no doubt have a role too!
  16. I hope we parachute JWP, Shaw and Chambers in for this fixture. I think the first team are still training at fratton park as they are a basket case who cant afford sub-council standard pitches, unless #factless can set the record straight? I wonder where the skate academy trains, the soon to be Tescos land? Absolutely superb, your summary will be better than the tome IMO. Excellent question, likely never to be answered.
  17. Indeed. I enjoy asking, with a wry smile, 'did pompey play today'. I softly chuckle when they tell me their opponents, and I laugh & gently shake my head from left to right when they tell me the result, whatever it is. Then change the subject. Its a moment of beauty. Integrity? LOL Classic Whittingham. #factless, you might want to refresh some of those auto-plucky-press templates
  18. Do you think champagne iain had been soaking it all up again? A dispute over the bill? And here is a gem from another poster on the 'Sack Whittingham' thread SHALALA
  19. Poor old Whitts and his brave plucky troops are taking a bashing on POL, the villain-herometer is swinging wildly Corp/Banker is talking about splashing the cash 'theres clearly money available' LOL
  20. Great humour
  21. Any updates on your FOI request and subsequent complaint for failing to adhere? Apparently, they should have contacted you if they needed more time than 20 days, working days that is: If they reject your request, they have to explain why. If that happens, it will be just as interesting as if they provide the info IMO. Please post your FOI if it comes through, us nutjobs will enjoy it, and #factless and Micha Hall could really do with some fresh material from the PTS! Classic LOL
  22. The biggest, the bestest, evers. LOL, poor souls first, then PDT.
  23. [newstatemen quote Mark Bullard]The erasure had the effect of hiding Conservative speeches in a secretive corner of the internet like those that shelter the military, secret services, gangsters and paedophiles. The Conservative Party HQ was unavailable for comment. A spokesman said he had referred the matter to a "website guy", who was out of the office. That seems pretty contemptable to me.. they are archiving their data to the point where it is closer to the dark-web (where fraudsters live etc) than what a normal user can search for using common search engines (google etc). This information will be difficult for normal users to find, which is wrong IMO. Im getting a little tired of these tories and I dont think im alone here, I appreciate they have come in and made drastic cuts which were necessary, but you scratch through their call me Dave personnas and they are in my opinion deeply self serving individuals with little or no concern for the electorate. I side with Russel Brand on these people!
  24. It comes down to money, Chinny never lost sight of that and neither did Pascal, but the real winners here were Robinson and the HNWs. They capitalised upon the strength of Halls passion, and used him as their PR vehicle to publically press the opposition in a way which journos (and their employers & lawyers) were too afraid to do, not you #factless, real footy journos like David Conn. Dangling the carrot of jobs for the boys knowing it would be too hard to resist was most likely always part of the plan. Finding an angry jobless skate with too much time on his fins must have been like finding the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Robinson is going to make a mint out of landlocking fratton in his Tesco deal, the least he could do would be to cough up for Michas costs. The HNW/trust leaders, salary or not are earning intellectual, social and networking capital out of the deal too, they perhaps have a duty of care to Micha. Above and beyond the value of their shareholding, which Michas publications ensured pfc entity 2010 was sold way under market/Chinnys value, they could all potentially turn a profit should a new Cala type come along in the future. Even #factless owes him a debt of gratitude, Michas blogs glossed over his spineless, limp wristed and blatantly biased reporting/propaganda, which pays him a salary. Is Hall now finding out who his real friends are?
  25. Abolutely, these chaps trade in the currency of revolvers: Alexander Antonov - Shot in a Moscow street German Gorbuntsov - Ally of the Antonovs, fled Russia only to be gunned down outside his Canary Wharf home - in intensive care and a coma Vladimir Antonov - Travelled in bullet proof cars Hussain Ahmad Najadi, the father of Pascal Najadi (prospective skate owner and Micha Hall suer) - Shot dead in Kuala Lumpur And the most recent development of all things involving skate finance: Sergei Polonsky - Owner of Miramax Group, fled Russia in Antonov esque style to Cambodia, the Cambodian authorities tried to arrest him, he fled, swam to a jungle only to give himself up after the Cambodia authorities opened indiscriminate fire into the jungle The link to pompey? Antonov, Gorbuntsov and Polonsky were the founders of the Antonov banking empire (starting with Akademchembank), the Russian Railways deal and the inevitable gangland fallout we are seeing now. I think we are still due to see performances from Pyotr Chuvilin and Sergei Mendeleyev, suspects in former assassination attempts on those named above, and also implcated in the trading of bank shareholdings with those above (investbank for example). FAO Micha and #factless, here is a nice blog for you: http://thefinanser.co.uk/fsclub/2012/11/how-the-russian-mafia-use-the-banking-system-including-britains.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9165107/Russian-banker-was-with-mystery-blonde-when-shot.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2120433/German-Gorbuntsov-shooting-Alexander-Antonov-warns-Russian-terrorism-arrived-Britain.html http://www.rumafia.com/news.php?id=453 http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/vladimir-antonov-withdraws-from-investbank-118100444.html
