  1. Tonight, our coach preferred to field a team that is well placed in the league, with a number of changes if you look at the league match played in December 2023. December 2023: Louchet (GK), Basse, Moore, Poha, Blancquart, Masson, Banse, Boutoutaou, Hamache, Lilepo, Haouari Tonight: Diabaté (GK), Linguet, Poha, Cuffaut, Basse, Knockaert, Foe Ondoa, Masson, Boutoutaou, Oyewuzi, Jung. 4 players out of 11 were present at kick-off for the 2 matches. Then here in France, it depends on the coaches, but it's not systematic either.
  2. Thank you very much for your message. A win that will do the players a world of good and reassure everyone. First home win of the 2023/2024 season. It's good to see us through to the 1/8th final of the Coupe de France. Next up in the league is a trip to Girondins de Bordeaux on Tuesday evening.
  3. I understand and I totally agree with you, a descent is never pleasant, especially as the Premier League is one of the best leagues in Europe in my opinion. This year, you've put in some great performances and you've rediscovered the passion and joy of the Saint Mary's Stadium, and I wish you all the best for a comeback at the end of the season. You've had a few bad moments, but now things are much better and I hope it will be the same for us.
  4. It's a great video that sums up your team's championship. You can be proud and I hope your series of positive results continues!
  5. I have a lot of faith in Sport Republic and the fact that they bought us to take us far, although at the moment that's not the case, and it's even the opposite, with a possible descent into the 3rd division, but I think our club will undergo a lot of changes in the near future. Like you, I think that in the summer of 2024, Sport Republic will begin a profound change in our club, with a reorganisation of the workforce (players and employees), and also I think a new way of working and better management, a bit like you I think. I can't hide the fact that I'm still worried, but I'm confident about the future, and when I see the work our owner has done for you, I hope we'll soon be seeing some great football here at Valenciennes.
  6. I'd like to wish my club Valenciennes FC the same trajectory, a complicated start but a great comeback, you've had the rain and now you have the sun. I've had a lot of admiration for what you've achieved over the last 2 years and I sincerely wish you all the best!
  7. 1 minute 30, no pénalty, wtf !
  8. It would be a pleasure to give you news about my club. Thank you all very much!
  9. Hello friends of Southampton! As you can see, Ahmed Kantari has been confirmed as head coach of our team until the end of the season. Opinions among us are rather mixed but Ahmed knows the club well as he was one of our former players, coach of our reserve team and coach of our first team at the end of last season. Staying in the 2nd division looks very difficult, we hope that our players will feel fully involved to get out of it, we have been promised that they will fight for our club, but the only truth is on the pitch. This weekend we played in the 1/32nd final of the French Cup, and won 2-0 against Sarreguemines, who play in the 5th division below us. Saturday's derby against Amiens SC is at home, and we hope they win the game.
  10. Enjoy the match, Southampton fans! Come On Saint's !
  11. Congratulation !
  12. Very Happy for you Saint's Friend ! comme on !
  13. Merci beaucoup, Thank you very much ! Allez Saint's, Go Saint's !
  14. Merry Christmas to all Southampton fans and to your loved ones!
  15. It's more or less the same trajectory that our 3 clubs are going through following the takeover by Sport Républic, difficult at the start but then improving. Despite everything, I'm confident about the future, whether we go down or stay in the second division.
  16. I hope you have a great game, and go, Saints!
  17. Hello Southampton fans, my name is Christophe and I'm a Valenciennes FC fan. I'm very happy to be part of the Sport Républic family since this summer and to be part of the Goztepe and Southampton families. As you can see from a distance, the first part of my club's season has been very complicated, after a late takeover (our previous owner complicated negotiations), there have been some bad choices, particularly by our sporting director, Ben Chorley, who has recruited players who don't know our league, so adapting has been very complicated. This winter, a lot of changes have been announced here at Valenciennes to avoid a descent into the third division. Hopefully Sport Républic have learnt from their mistakes. I've watched your team play and I'm very happy for you and wish you all the best. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards.
