How bad can your touch be and you still get to play premier league football?
-
If they're his shooting boots there can't be anything lethal about them
-
Total donkey, which is bizarre to sign him in a possession based team. I feel he might be best played centrally (if he has to feature at all) as his only asset seems to be a bit of physicality. Then again tall Paul is physically stronger with ten times the technical ability
-
Congrats to the recruitment team for bringing him to Southampton. Unfortunately the chances of him staying for long are reduced by the colossal fuck up of this season
-
Tall Paul on for Archer and dibling for someone...
-
I wish we had 3 Fernandeses in midfield
-
The wolves crowd are really on their backs. I think we're unlucky to be behind and are the better side. Probably still lose though
-
He doesn't have a clue does he
-
I'm not sure Lesley is the big physically imposing midfielder we thought we were getting
-
I suspect adarma is a defensive minded change. Dibling looked a bit lacklustre in supporting kwp
-
The age old debate of when a back 5 becomes a back 3 may be solved by the inclusion of Stephens and Manning
-
Did this dipshit think playing dibling in a position he's unfamiliar with and Ryan Fraser against his old club would be a masterstroke
-
Martin not up to it. Crazy fucking experiment today.
-
Would like to see Fernandes and Dibling on. Maybe play Dibling instead of Adarma ? Not sure what formation but we have to accommodate our better players. Smallbone and AA just aren't up to it at this level unfortunately
-
Archer on for Adarma?
-
The worrying thing is even when we were outplaying them we didn't look overly likely to score. You wonder where a goal is gonna come from
-
We've played very well this half. All to be undone by a player the entire fanbase knew would do exactly this

At that point I'd say we have a very good chance of signing them
-
I know Dibling is young but is this how he envisions himself on the pitch?
-
I can see the logic, but almost every club would ideally want to see how a player got on in their system before signing. It's weird to see an established professional with over a hundred (?) premier league games having to trial for a club. Anyway good luck to him wherever he ends up. Always enjoyed watching him play and felt he was one of the few players with attacking guile we've had in recent years
-
Bit weird that they want him to trial isn't it? Haven't they seen him play before?
-
What are his options? Play for us or see if a championship team come in for him?
-
He looked at sea a lot in his last premier league outing, though who knows if that's also to do with coaching and style of play. Ideally I'd rather he was our third choice centre back though and we had an upgrade to partner THB
-
The goalkeeping situation at this club has been absolute mess for the last decade.
-
Absolutely. Downes reminds me of Schneiderlin at times, always in the right position
