Frankly whether we were the best doesn't matter. It was just an absolute riot! Pure joy on a consistent basis.... it'll probably never be repeated.... But we had it.
Simon Grayson's program notes haunt me. Couldn't afford season ticket and the transport at the time so the ones I made it to stick a bit,
Paraphrasing: "We are relegation stragglers, we need to take all the chances we can."
Thoroughly underwhelming and of course it was a penalty that did it for them.
Amazing that Cork was an unused sub.
God I remember that game. At a time when I could barely afford to travel down for it. Jamie White really deserved better then his broken leg. Banging them in at conference level for Salisbury at the age of 23, he will at least get to the football league... I believe it.
Love these kind of perspective threads.... not sarcasm, I really do.
Ok. Two parties own a property in the UK, one lives here, one lives abroad.
Can the person living abroad give someone in the UK power of attorney to be their legal representative in a sale?
If anyone can answer this question I would be extremely grateful.
Was going to say farawaysaint. The negativity you were recalling regarding Rickie beforehand.... don't remember that! It does appear that the press are happy to give him the benefit of the doubt.
In effect praising Lambert for selfless movement, unselfishness with the ball and recognised he was isolated in the second half while also saying the extra attacking options will be welcome.
He was very composed in the first half, some excellent attacking moves went through him, the ball just stuck to him. Yes, his second half has been poor but so has everyone else in the side for the last 45 minutes.
He had an excellent first half. If there needs to be a scapegoat it should be Theo.
Rickie's trying to do too much, daft flicks with every ball rather then dictating the pace and bringing his team-mates into play. He's forgotten what he's good at.
The forward line is being quite fluid on the centre and right again. Theo taking centre when Rickie drops deep and goes out wide.
Rickie is missing Danny Welbeck.
