I understand what you are saying Steve. As well as the poll here though I'm also basing that party on the Echo poll that showed approx 60% approval for a striped shirt and about 10% approval for a plain red kit. It's quite eerie yet reassuring how similar the results in both polls were.

It got greedy and couldn't live in harmony with it's white brothers. Bring back the peace. Room for all.

Yep a ratio of 6/1 of those who want stripes and those who want the current kit. Yes MLG, it's only a slight majority. A 'retro kit day' would be a fantastic way of protesting. Those who actually care enough to own the kits and want stripes back will more then likely own a striped shirt already.

It is a majority. The 40% are also very split, with 15% (Saintsweb poll) not caring. Therefore the vast majority that do care want stripes. 60/25 ratio.... over double those of contrary opinion.

Christ MLG, do we have to go through this kind of terrible routine every time? 60% have rejected the current kit (SaintsWeb poll) and wish for a return to stripes (Echo poll). It's really not hard.

We had done well to hold out from yearly kit changes for so long. It's a shame we have followed suit, but inevitable.

This is true, but you could probably manage to get something that does better then an 18% approval rate. (Like it will buy + like it won't buy) Yes, a fair few people like it. But 18%, regardless of the number of people who make up that proportion, is a serious minority. That only 15% are down as 'don't cares' also shows that this is something that does matter to the average fan.

As far as the #saveourstripes group is concerned, that's part of the deal.
