  1. Not sure. I believe their involvement in football tends to be all or nothing. Maybe why they have essentially left the english game alone due to costs, although as RB Leipzig show they are not afraid to take over someone small with the intention of growing it.
  2. Probably reading far too much into things now, but, clubs that Red Bull sponsor: RB Leipzig: Adidas kit NY Red Bulls: Adidas Kit Red Bull Salzburg: Adidas Kit Red Bull Brasil: Adidas Kit Red Bull Ghana: Adidas Kit And all play with white shirt with red adidas detailing with red shorts and white socks. The rumours are we are to be sponsored by an F1 team/drinks company and will be using a predominantly one colour shirt supplied by Adidas next year of a design that will not please everyone.....
  3. Someone I trust.
  4. I understand that someone has bought the contract out.
  5. Would anyone with a modicum of photoshop ability adapt the above mock-up with a red bull logo please?
  6. Also ties into the 'F1 team' rumour. It could be a case of hearing rumours and going 1+1=3, I have had the same thoughts on who would fit that profile... which F1 team would want to sponsor a football club? And based on Red Bull's background in sport sponsorship it made perfect sense. It is however all conjecture.
  7. Just seen it mentioned. Thought it best to detail here as i'm sure a few of us will be eagerly awaiting them!
  8. How much is an innocent life worth?
  9. He surely knew the risk!
  10. That is one b*llocksed ankle at the end! A triumph of individual desire though, yes, you can get hurt.... but it's your own decision to take part, who should have the right to deny you?
  11. Don't put it in the microwave like a friend of mine did.....
  12. Spurs would say no. It depends on what the clubs around you are doing. You may be able to have a good season and get into a european place but if a rival gets taken over by Opec and pushes you out it can be difficult to fight back in, regardless of how you are being run. Everton also saw the flip side, as St Chalet stated above, 4th just gets you into the qualifying stages, if you have no European pedigree you will face a harsh tie due to the ceedings. Everton couldn't get past a Villareal team in full flight. If it was Saints having a storming upturn in fortunes we would be in the same boat, facing a Valencia, A Steaua Bucharest, a Benfica. The FA Cup win is a glory day, something to remember forever. A fourth place finish only gives you the certainty of a Europa League place.
  13. Maybe there's a deal to be had. I do like the area there, love the idea of living out by the Solent, it may be a little out of the way for what i'm after though.
  14. Good job i'm not in that field then. Best not to do maths after a skinful on a bank holiday weekend! Going on about a 1.25 euro to the pound rate, last time I was in Malta it was actually closer to 1.18 euro. So £15 mill is about bang on.
  15. Palace for me. A club that has had to fight back from the brink and has done it by working within their means. Should either side come up though they will have done so by playing good football, much prefer them in the top flight to Steve Bruce's Hull City.
  16. We were linked to him in January, non? 18 million Euros, about 12 million pounds? For a central midfielder capped 4 times by Belgium and 25 years old.
  17. Wait, missed that. I could afford Hamble!?!
  18. No denial there. As a fan though I want the euphoria in seeing my team lift a trophy, not the technicality of barely qualifying for something.
  19. I would be certain that any true figure would be kept well underwraps. No point exposing your hand in a sellers market, puts you in a terrible position.
  20. Nothing beats actually winning something. An FA Cup win for me as long as I have breath in my body. Nothing wrong with 4th place mind, but it's no choice comparing the two.
