A sad bookend to his time here. He never quite became the player he promised to be but there were occasional flashes. When we went top of the league after that win v Newcastle in 2020. His assist for Che Adams. That's my parting memory of his second spell.

Having been a resident of Coventry between 2002-2014 I was really wanting you to go up today. So many friends were there at Wembley today. Since I went to Coventry in 2002 for University I wanted us to be playing each other in the top flight. The wait continues.

What if we flip the genders here....... Would it be so 'well' received?
-
Oh, we have not been doing it succesfully, but we have tried to.

I'm veering towards this mentality. But, the fear of 'more of the same' is not going away. Similar tactical approach after the best part of 4 years of seeing our club wither away under such an approach.

Don't remember finding our 30 or so pass goal v Boro in 2011 boring.

Just wondering how it seems so certain when, as stated by all outlets, we havn't even approached him yet?

Will we have a better transfer window than 2005?

Fuller kept us up. Best £90k we ever spent. £410k profit too when he went to Stoke. -
Fine, but if we are in, we go all in. Don't just get him to use the squad we have, give him the resources to make it his. Move on the dross use those that are capable. No agendas from above, no need to do certain things, let the manager manage. His teams pass well, maybe need better defenders. Focus there. We pray that Rasmus and Co are not just trying to be clever for the sake of it. (Of course they are.)

Wish I had......

Can only be Leon Crouch.

We just cannot do the basics, we are cannon fodder for those that can.

Had Dan Sheldon continued at The Athletic I would have cancelled my subscription, but Jacob Tanswell has done a great job, feels like he has some passion for the job and club. All credit to him.

The horse has already bolted. Alas.

A better question right be who is better. Maitland-Niles or Olivier Bernard?
-
Put even one of Phillips, Crouch or Camara in this team........ My goodness they were night and day.

Since 2017 I would say.

He's just a sh*t Hassenhutl. All there is to it.

We are broken at all levels.

Nothing, nothing about that game went to expectation. Utterly bizarre. Glad we showed some fight, yet....... So much joy and so much predictable nonsense. That was the kind of game that makes us love and hate football. We are in the championship next year, but I want more of this....if we go we go fighting.

It is good, but so many loose ends to tie up, particularly within the series' own continuity. Just wonder if they've backed themselves into a horrible corner.

TCWTB. For reasons best kept to himself.

About. F**king. Time.

Hopefully having a football club I like supporting rather then endure suporting again.
