Wouldn't blame him if he wanted a clean break to be fair. He will be in the top flight while we look on up.

Exactly my point. We got promoted with players who were not good enough for the Premier league but when coached properly got a club up to the Premier league. My point is, take a player who is clearly better then they ever were and use him!
-
More so then players that we know from recent experience were capable of getting us promoted. Jos Hooiveld, Aaron Martin, Danny Seaborne, Danny Fox, Danny Butterfield, Frazer Richardson. I would rather have Stephens in the side then any of those in their prime ahead of our next season. It's not desperation to fill the squad with mediocrity, it's understanding that players who may not have been the best in the PL but have shown to be useful will still be more then capable of doing a very good job in the second tier with the right management.

A shame he never got to work with Nathan Jones, there's your front footed aggression.
-
And the one consistent factor in those points, the poor environment that all of our players have been training and working within. Take Stephens away from us, he got better. How we could have done with any of our defenders, regardless of if they were more naturally talented, to do as well as he did at Bournemouth this year. We should not be so complacent to let a player who can cut it in a league now above us go as gladly as you are seemingly happy to.

If we got promoted back to the premier league with him at the heart of our defence then good luck to him on his next step! This 'isn't very good player' was key to one of our nearest rivals staying up, and it seems they want to keep him. That speaks volumes to me. Our problems have come from poor coaching and a toxic dressing room environment, not just the abilities of the individual players. We need players of his experience and capability right now to help us.

Hope he stays personally. We got promoted out of this league last time with Aaron Martin and post nightclub injury Danny Seaborne getting games. He is definitely better then those two.

The chevrons extending down the sleeves actually help it.

The Keeper's shirt. Baz will look great picking the ball out of the net in that.

The red sponsor works for me. Never been a fan of this design though, oh well. Black third kit to look forward to. They can't cock that up, surely?

Can forever be filed alongside Jermaine Wright in the 'WTF was that?' section.

Good business often isn't friendly, especially when dealing with a direct competitor.

Or at the very least to the Azov Coast. If they were going for a town my bet would be Berdyans'k. Easier shot then to the Kerch Bridge.
-
Cannot go wrong with a black away kit.

Squad surgery. Believe we shall be adopting the; 'Burn it down. Salt the earth,' philosophy.

Don't forget the impending expansion of the sun to supergiant at some point in the future.

When Hummel keep it simple, they get it very right. That would probably be seen as a lack of effort though.

I really, really dislike West Ham. But I am pleased for David Moyes.

Last year I would imagine

Here's a poem...... (Oh no) Now i've read the poem. Bl**dy brilliant!

Never been a fan of that Hummel design. Just far too busy for my own taste. But, sure, lets get it out of the way.

Make me a third person with an envelope with the tickets for me and two mates who were looking forward to a catch up.

We're all going on a coca cola tour.......... Oh, who is the sponsor now? Skybet? No, that doesn't work.

Just, hilarious.

Just, what a bunch of c**ts. Where was this hiding!?
