Hereford is worth a visit, some beautiful nearby villages and superb restaurants/bars for an evening out. Used to go there quite a bit but sadly not anymore.
A predictable u-turn. It's not quite a McDons moment but very troubling.
The City of Cardiff does keep it's football club but it's own ambition has resulted in it losing a key part of it's soul. The only way their fans can save face is by opposing it. If Nicola Cortese suddenly decided that it would be in our best interests to switch to Blue shirts/white shorts/red socks there would be outcry, and rightly so.
Nah, I don't like it.
My old Mondeo was larger on the inside, handled better and was more powerful. I enjoyed driving and living with the thing. The Passat feels incredibly dreary in comparison... At least it drinks fuel delicately.
I'm more p*ssed off that any criticism (sustained or otherwise) of any non-white player will be seen as racist when the reasons for it are based on performance. We have had scapegoats of all races. The frankly lazy and slanderous implications of some individuals that these criticisms are motivated by race strike me as a complete anachronism.
Nah, sideways move into a Passat Bluemotion.
I stand by my judgement of the 1 series though. It's something you buy if you want the badge, not a good car.
Oh f**k me not this again.
The criticism of Delap, McCann, Fernandes, Rasiak, Ripley, Marsden in his early days and Harding from some sections is similarly motivated?
I interpreted that as the initial seeding of Earth with the Engineer's genetic material, therefore the trigger point for the creation of humanity.
It's not a perfect film but it appealed to the sci-fi fanboy in me that wanted to see some kind of set-up for the Alien films. The Aliens being a bi-product of the biological warfare that the Engineers wanted to unleash against their own creation was quite an intersting take on things. Elizabeth Shaw gaving birth to the mother of all facehuggers.... Yeah, a C-section would be the prefered route.
Ubergeek Alert:
The Space Jockey found in the first Alien film was on LV-426, LV-223 is the location for Prometheus. Therefore the crashed ship and chest-burst Jockey in the first film is unconnected to this.
