See (at the risk of starting this type of discussion off again) I don't believe that a stadium expansion is required per sé. An improvement to the stadium facilities on the other hand would make a lot of sense.

Not at all, within the tone of the DVD documentary (Rickie talking about the future etc) and the showing of the pictures directly after similar pcitures for the new confirmed and under construction academy and training facilities put these across as something that is certainly at least under consideration or a 'proposal' stage. What I feel would be 'bizare' is why they would have specifically released these images!? There was no need for it really.... unless they want to show just how serious we are being about further future development.

No, it's quite bizare, just a few pictures in the background during an interview with Rickie Lambert where he is dicussing the club's future ambition. No real further context is given.

Conclusions: 1. Based on the road layout, it's a revamped St Mary's not a totally new stadium 2. The new buildings would require the purchase of the Industrial Estate behind the Chapel Stand and Cemex moving out from the Riverside. 3. There is a question mark after 'Our Future...' these are just a taster, not a finished plan. 4. The quality of the drawings say to me that these have been done by a professional graphical designer. That the club has released them into the public domain indicates to me that at least investigation has been held into upgrading St Mary's (but then we know that's happened in the past anyway...)

Those proposals have been done by a professional graphic artist. Do not take the poor quality of the image against them, I photographed them from my tele.

There would need to be work doen around the ground to allow it, not least the purchase of the Industrial Estate behind the Chapel stand and Cemex plant on the river. Aiming for the stars hasn't done us any apparent harm so far though.

Oh, and the DVD is a nice litle 15 minute or so documentary (quality not amazing, sourced from Saintsplayer I believe.... but as a freebie, who cares) it shows a few key games and highlights and has interviews with the players and staff about 'the journey' and the ongoing club ambition. The stadium refurb pictures appear in the background during Rickie Lambert's interview section.

Stadium expansion proposals are included on the DVD...... Just watching over some lunch. There is an image of a revamped St Mary's with new stadium frontage, roof, expanded seating on the kings land/northam/chapel sides and new building to the rear of the chapel stand. Above the image is the caption "Our Future?"

My ticket has also arrived. Exactly the same format as the one pictured. And to answer any questions.... all renewels should expect one in that format, after all mine was a renewel in the cheapest part of the ground. Superb stuff from the club!
