  1. Check the date on that link!!!!!
  2. Just booked 3
  3. I've got one! I've sent a PM asking you to send me your address - it can be in the post on Monday
  4. I usually park at the Marlands Car park, behind the BBC - just up from the station. Can't remember how it costs. Not a bad walk to the ground - and close enough to get the freebie bus, though I've never done that. Does it still exist?
  5. Happens at every game though - tube from Baker St was a bit hairy, but mainly Saints fans trying to goad a few Forest fans. In the part of the ground I was in there was a lot of Forest, lot of banter, but pretty good humour. A couple of theirs keeping up a running commentary with lots of comments about Saints players - but really funny, as were there comments about some of Forest too!
  6. That's gotta be the answer. Is there any block where a lot of Saints fans are buying? Or are Carlisle fans tame enough not to mind us? Like the old days in the league cup when Saints and Forest fans were together with no probs! What is the liklihood of getting thrown out if we're in wrong part?
  7. looks like I won't be able to get the two I need - can get one as I'm on the database, but the lad won't be able to get one! how many are likely to buy on the Carlisle site? any problems if we can get tickets in the Carlisle end?
  8. first train from Exeter to London Paddington leaves Exeter at 08.45; arrives at 11.44. Should only be about 30 mins to Wembley. Tube to Marylebone - Chiltern Line to Wembley Fare less than £40 at the moment. I have to wait till the 10th March to see if I can get tickets so by that time I bet the really cheap fares will have gone. Hopefully meet some Devon Saints on the train.
  9. just bought 2 - together- online
  10. Any idea what time tomorrow it's possible to buy online?
  11. Very impressed. The type of player Saints haven't had for a generation. Short, stocky, good solid in defence - explosive runs out of defence. A Saints player who knows where the byline is! Tommy Traynor / Stuart Williams? Should be signed up asap
  12. Of course there's pride - pride in all the Saints have meant to me in all the years I have been supporting them; pride in wearing a Saints cap or shirt, esp. when it's easy to be a target from green and white retards - and I know, the lad should wear one his Saints shirts, but just because he can wear another r/w striped one with a Flybe logo - he will! At least he's keen to come and see the game. Last time he was leading a lot of singing in Block 35 - can get a bit quiet there!
  13. Well I'll be hitting the A30, M5, A35, A31 on Monday. Probably be regarded as a 'stayaway' or a 'plastic fan', but hey I can take it. I was watching Saints week in / week out before most of those carping were born! And I can remember the last time Saints were in the old 3rd Div. 1st game of the season might have been against Rotherham. Bringing the lad too - who will insist on wearing his Exeter shirt (spot the difference!) - and say he's looking forward to seeing Exeter at SMS next year. Sadly, I think he's right - but hope he's wrong.
  14. My teenage son went to see Exeter City win 4-1, and is over the moon. Used to be an ardent Saints fan until he wanted a team he could support every week - and two Wembley appearances have proved him right. I listened to Radio Hampshire and LOL'ed at the live mic moments - better than the commercials they were supposed to be playing. And having supported saints on the terraces since '62 - all home matches from '73 into the '80's when I moved away, could only inwardly weep at their incomptence. Where is the club that used to be? Where is the Saints we loved week in, week out. Son says Exeter will be playing Saints in the League next season - I fear he could be right! He still wants to see the Man U game. I'm dreading it! He wants to wear his Exeter shirt - and try to say that they at least they drew. I fear a lynching - or perhaps a resigned acknowledgment that he is right.
  15. ho, ho - a conspiracy theory!
  16. I love unprofessional radio. Why don't they realise?
  17. ah - Tom's in the tunnel!
  18. it's on now - but it keeps breaking up
  19. anyone able to hear the radio?
  20. Hope Wotton realises he will get a load of stick from the Exeter crowd. The Plymouth connection!
