Clarke coming on helped them. Think we might have been in a lot of trouble if he'd started but equally our legs were fresher then. I agree that Stewart didn't get into it and our intensity dropped. Couldn't see how good Peretz's save at the end was from where I was sat but watching it on the highlights it just reinforces how important his presence has been.

The problem is (and you're right he's a bit one-footed from what I could see) is that he doesn't just get to the by-line and cross it, he tends to then cut back, pull it back or do something a bit more intelligent with it so while it's better to show him outside he's good enough to do something with it once he's got a bit of space.

We just weren't up to it. They were organised but nothing special. Much as people have praised Wood, I think he needs to be moved on.
