I expect us to win every game (really - pretty much, anyway, but I'm disappointed with the two losses because I think they were more self-enforced than deserved due to how good the opponent was).

There was one time where he let the ball bounce on his right foot which was planted on the ground. He killed it, moved it back a foot or so from where he wanted it to be but was blocked off by the QPR player while making his turn. Excellent skill, just a shame it didn't come off. His header was bloody good, too.

Except, same as last year, they did tell us what was going to happen. All you had to do was listen and then stand there.

From what I've seen of him, he's decent. Would have liked him to have come on earlier. Thought Dobbin's flicked header was excellent. Understand he wasn't offside, which is good. Disappointed we conceded; should really have been about 6 or 7 nil. Would like to see us click into gear at some point.

True. Very good footballers, but put them in a first team game and I think they'd really struggle. I would like to see a few of them get a few minutes here and there, however.

I imagine in your case it was a form of solidarity of stupidity and the fact that someone knew put them out because they chose to feel stupid and got defensive. While I can appreciate that a certain poster does look for facts rather than just spout off (rubbish, particularly when it's something that was/should have been/could have been readily known), albeit I suppose that's part of the make-up of what constitutes a modern forum in that it's quite close to face to face speech, there is a bit more to it than that. The question of 'bullying' is also interesting, but far more complex. To a degree, my mind is 'if you ask for it, you have to take it' but, again, there's more to that than that. Anyway, let's beat West Ham (or come away with a 0-0) and I think we can then look at other results more positively. The league looks as though it could actually be quite tight for a lot of teams.

Confirmation of what? He saw it so he gives it. If he doesn't know what he's doing (he mostly didn't although he did pull play back after letting it go on for that foul on Dobbin) then as we told him at the game: he's not fit to referee and somehow he got given a whistle.

It was clever play and opened them up a lot. The lino just flagged when he saw a red and white shirt though, didn't have a clue about when the ball was kicked. The one JWP put through to Fellows you could hear the thump as he hit the ball and a second later and Fellows had to step round his marker who was keeping him onside so he could not have been offside. I did watch him after the third or so just to see why he couldn't keep his line, but on at least one occasion he did.

They were absolute dog shit. We should have battered them. Some of those 'offsides' weren't so the lino was crap and the most obvious penalty you'll see and the wanker in black decided otherwise.

Because, strangely enough it kind of gives you a chance to continue the celebration of the goal for a bit longer, it's high energy and it gives you a focus to all stand and clap and give it to the opposition supporters in unison. It should be 'nod', but it's good. Particularly cathartic in certain situations (e.g. Swansea, Bristol City) when you equalise and then you know we're going to push on.
