Downs looks like a good replacement for Onuachu, I appreciate it’s difficult for a club of our standing to acquire a solid striker so I would be willing to take a chance on him. What’s importance is his reactivity, and conversion, picking up a decent striker who has underperformed due to poor service from midfield/wings is the way to go. Of course, easier said than done

I would love him to stay but I just don’t want my heart broken. To be honest, I was resigned to relegation last summer. But when we signed him, it was almost a little frustrating as I knew that he would be out the door as soon as we went down. At that point a little spark inside me ignited and I wanted us to stay up.
