There's a post on Ugly Inside that we've bid £3m for K Schmeichal

This is good news, Mr Muscle is not the image we need now we're back in the Prem. Cillet Bang conveys a much tougher image -

Is it your time of the month? Only you appear a little touchy, considering both posts you've jumped on were also just people being a little tongue in cheek! -

Lol, since when did a large post count equate to being in the know? Saying that, if it's our Turkish then I'm convinced. -
It's ok, there's no requirement to clap at the same speed, so just clap at your own pace & as it speeds up & slows down you'll occasionally get it right!

This is the key thing, if the job is that good, go for it. Even if MK is a total dump, ride it out for a couple of years if the job is that good, get the experience behind you & on your CV, then use that to relocate back to where you want to be. The job market is awful at the moment & you're being offered a job you'd bite someones hand off to get!!!! Go for it. I did the same thing a few years back, got offered a job in Exeter that was way above anything I imagined I'd ever get. I went there for two years, didn't really enjoy Exeter. For the first year I kept my season ticket & commuted, the second year I gave up the season ticket. But I knew that at some point I'd move back to the south coast. From an employment perspective it was the best thing I did, from a social perspective it wasn't great, but it soon went & I'm in a much better position financially now that I'd have been otherwise.

Serious stuff this Internet malarkey! I read about a girl who committed suicide because she was bullied via Facebook & it made me wonder why she killed herself rather than just stopping using Facebook?

Decent parking at Heathrow airport T5 - Any suggestions?
Spudders replied to Spudders's topic in The Lounge
Fiat Panda!! Do they still make them? I kinda wanna take my car, just don't want people whacking their doors against it as seems to be the norm these days. Sounds like the T5 business carpark is ok so I'll probably take my chances there next week. I didn't realise when I booked the flights that the euro star goes to Brussels, so I may just get the train from then on as I'm doing two months over there coming back weekends. Cheers everyone for advice! -

But then I'd have to make polite conversation with someone -

What was the car park like, decent sized spaces? What is this electic pod you speak of? Is it something to distract you whilst people break into your car!!! -

Cheers Turkish, trouble with this option is that I already have the hump I have to waste my Sunday afternoon & evening for a work trip, so going up to London the Saturday is even worse. Cost isn't a problem as I can exxpense it, I'd just ideally not want to leave my car parked up for a week in tight spaces with chimps opening their doors onto it if there were any better car parks in the same area. I also don't want to leave it with the Valet service & see it a few months later when the tv show rogue traders show some teenage lad taking his mum to lidl in it! -
I've gotta leave my car at Heathrow next week (flying from terminal 5). Any suggestions on good cars parks? Ideally looking for one with wider spaces & secure, but I don't want to use a valet service, any suggestions? ta

Oh come on dd's, to some people it's the most fashionable item of clobber they get to wear during their trips into the outside world!

It's a shame Alpine purchased the entire stock in this size, or Steve could have shown his support on tv

Wonder how they plan to do that!?

Who Is The Worst Company you Have Had The Misfortune To Have To Deal With
Spudders replied to Gemmel's topic in The Lounge
eBay are rubbish when you have problems & actually need to speak to someone real. Vodafone are also poor unless you are lucky enough to speak to someone in the uk -
He wasn't wearing his Saints shirt on Jeremy Kyle, so I don't think the reputation of SFC has been damaged too badly in this instance

Finally something we can all agree on

Yeah I totally get there was a link with the use of the sash, but it's a historical one, that if we're honest is not relevant to the majority of fans. Most (not all) fans have the opinion that saints are red & white stripes based on the fact that that's all they have ever seen with their own eyes, generally people just don't like change ( until it happens, after which they embrace it & wonder what the fuss was about before). Personally, I wasn't a fan of the sash shirt, because I didn't like it visually. The fact it was linked to a part of our clubs history (whilst great we remember our roots) had no impact on my opinion of the actual design of the shirt. The majority of fans from recent decades are used to having red & white stripes of the same or similar thickness. Technically these new designs are just dramatically changing the differences between the thickness of the different colours, they are still red & white stipes. As for the red being printed on a white shirt, well yes, that does sound a bit rubbish, but I'll wait to see the kit. As for the overall design, if it does turn out to look like you suggest then I like this one. It will also mean that we can sing 'coooooome oooooon yooooou reeeeeeds' without it being so discriminatory against the white
