Exactly. When Antti Niemi went there and got paid loads for doing nothing he was a legend, agent Niemi people on here called him. He took money from the skates for doing nothing. I’d see this as the same with Nugent if he came to us, especially if he were happy to take a wage drop! He helped burden the skates with additional debts, was happy to sit on their bench and do nothing, than came to us and he’ll work hard for less money! The skates will hate it, therefore I will be most happy with that scenario.

I wouldn't bother. I made a suggestion back in April and other than Steve saying "It will shortly be under discussion" there's never been any follow up. In my opinion, I don't think the people that run the forum are really that bothered any more, which is why they don't need to worry about listening to the masses. If we don't like it, we can go elsewhere. I think the whole £5 membership fee has actually been the downfall of this forum. Once people start paying for something they 'expect' a service. When they don't get what they want they complain, when they complain the people doing the work to keep the forum running get fed up, etc, etc.

I like this whole 'it's only £5' attitude, and the whole 'grown men moaning about someone they've never met' blah blah blah thing. To me this is more about principal than anything else. I couldn't give a feek about £5, likewise ultimately I agree I don't even know who or what Deppo is. But personally one of the main reasons I used/liked this forum was to have a laugh. As my own personal humor preference is to that of Deppo's work (which is obviously not welcome) then I'll just use this place as an info source now, so 3 posts a day is fine. And for all those of you who think it's no big deal, that's fine maybe you aren't interested in the humor aspect? But if you are, before you start going on about it being no big deal, just think about what the forum will be like if & when all the major contributors such as Deppo, Dune (even hypo) are gone!

This!!! I cancelled my PayPal annual subscription or this place last week, so come August I'll be back to just a registered user. I am also looking into the whole forum set up thing. To be honest I doubt I will set one up from scratch, but as per my thread on the main forum asking where others go online, there are already other places we 'could' go. SNSUN is a mod on LoyalSaints, we could all start using that place. If SNSUN wanted too this would be a good oppertunity to get that place a bit busier. It's highly unlikely anywhere will be as big as this place because due to the sheer numbers on here, the majority will just stay put. But even if some of us go elsewhere, we'll at least have somewhere we can actually have a laugh.

you've been quiet since January!

I first started going to watch saints as a way to spend a saturday away from my mrs (at that point in time). No real surprise that she is a thing of the past, whereas Saints are still in my life. Looking about the crowd at any football game, I find it hard to beleive that many there actually have girlfriends!

Clearly at the moment SaintsWeb is the main forum to discuss all things saints online. But where else do people go to get their online saints fix?
