was impressed with what i saw of peckhart (spl?) some of his movement in the box was pretty good for a young lad. i would have him start v Ipswich

a combination of bad finishing and good goal keeping kept us in it in just the 1st half, especially the Kelvin save onto the post. If we had gone in 2 or 3 down at half time im not so sure we would have come out with the same enthusiasm.

sorry mate but you are wrong. The ball has been bundled into the box via a long throw. We had 2 players marking each other at the point of the flick on, one of them should have done better. If he had have come for it he would have had to go through 10 ish players to get it, no chance.

id just like to say thanks for keeping the score today down to just 4 and to say sorry for slagging you off in the past. You seemed to be the only one out there that cared today.

playing ok!!! what game are you watching? If it wasnt for KD we would be 3 or 4 down by now. Playing 2, 19 year olds at CB and filling the rest of the team with similar ages is a mistake. You have to find a balance and we havent. SJ, Perry, Rudi (yes he is still ours) should all be in this side imo. Gillet for the 2nd game in a row has shown why no other manager has given him a run in the team. Mcgoldrick has a serious attitude problem, lost count how many times he threw has arms about in a strop rather than chasing the ball down after a mis placed pass or similar. Simple reality is, we are not good enough and if something drastic doesnt happen we will be playing L1 football next season but hey your ok with that because the rest of us are tossers???

no one runs their club like us. No other club, in any division has filled their team with 12 year olds. Unless we get investment we are screwed.

yes we can continue this way, if you want lower league football and the very real threat of administration hanging over us. Unfortuneatly money plays a huge part in football today, if we dont move forward and "keep with the times" the alternative is not worth thinking about

trouble is though that in todays climate we simply cannot continue the way we have done. We have to move with the times.

thomas looks to be out for a while, killer..well we just dont know but the very fact he is seeing a specialist in Sweden doesnt bode too well. That leaves us with Perry and kids. Not ideal is it? The OS shows that we have 9 defenders, (perry, thomas, killer, hatch, james, lancashire, davies, cork and mills) with wotton and spiderman that can play there if need be. My argument isnt about what cover we have, more about the age of that cover and how they would cope against the big strikers in this division, yes they are all enthusiastic at the moment but a few more defeats and a cold, wet tuesday night fixture in sheffield for example will see their heads drop, and without the experience on the pitch to hold it together. I hope killer is just out for the one game and am proved wrong

but the problem is, he is right. I said long ago pretty much the smae thing on countless other threads. Filling a team completely with kids will not work in this division, yes we will play some pretty stuff and the kids will have enthusiasm but how long will that last for? We need experience at the back and i believe in CM too. (Wotton for example).

with killer out, that brings the average age down to 12, (well it may as well be) we are buggered!! We dont have enough cover, it only takes an injury to Perry then what are we left with..more 12 year olds.
