  1. they were just being a bunch of knobs, trying it on, old bill had them under the cost though.
  2. never heard of him....
  3. Come on. Ramirez good, you could see the quality he can offer but to say he was the best player on the pitch? First proper game in the EPL, fair play, he can get better and tthat can only be good for us, but to suggest that he ran the show do me favour!
  4. apart from after the match on Brttania Rd, what a bunch of cocks!
  5. wasnt it just, worried at HT, said to someone that i couldnt see us winning a game all season, but then came the second half!
  6. Lambert wouldnt have had loads to do if he didnt get the pass, what a muppett
  7. ridiculous OP, i said to me mate it would be flat in the 1st half, we are all well nervous, just concentrating on the game, until we were winning, anyway, I much prtefer "Sing when we're winning, we only sing when we're winning", we should take it on full time.
  8. For all those who think Clyne cant play on the left: Went with a Palace mate of mine, told me that Clyne had played on that side a lot for them and was called up for the England U21 when he played there - yeah, he played on the left for the national team too. He doesnt have to have a great left foot, going forward from the left he cuts in on the right and scores, what more can you ask, reminded me of a good Glen Johnson.
  9. is Les Reed a coach then? Who are the other two guys, and is Roy Hodgeson the same man as the England Manager Woy?
  10. so basically, we're ****e!
  11. LOL. ezactly, he can ONLY say No.
  12. In football the captain chooses head or tails and which end they will be etc. its little more than that. To think he needs to be loud and motivational is nonsense, you will have other players that fill that role anyway, and in the changing room surely the manager is the key speaker? I dont think it make any odds as to who is captain, though i personally would have made SRL captain over AL.
  13. yes, watched the last 96 seconds of MOTD2 last night and thought of him, it made me very angry and I cannot now just think of him as some jovial WUM, just a moron.
  14. I might not have worded it well, i am being serious in tha fact that West Ham have an experienced manager, Reading and us do not, and so far, it shows. It was funny last season when everyone on here went overboard with him, but I think like you, the bloke has done a lot at all (Geordies excepted, though he was only there for 5 mins!) with all the clubs he has been at, he might be a fat t wat that hoofes the ball, but he sitting better than Adkins at the mo.
  15. I think the water is well under the bridge in respect of Hoddle. He would be a top appointment. he has the experience, the desire and the ability. What the difference between all the promoted side this year, yeah, West Ham, and they have a manager who has more PL experience of most that are there now, what does that tell you.
  16. my money is on Le Tissier.
  17. is this for real....?
  18. is that true?
  19. the front row gets it over the back, thats for sure.
  20. areyou Deppo?
  21. my point was in this 'move on' philosophy, the fact that The Sun said what it said after the event, and the fact that the families continued to fight the injustice that they felt was carried out. If they had moved on, the authorities, goverment and The Sun (not the only disgraceful paper mind) would have never apologised. But then you are up against morons like Alpine Saint who say stuff like this on another thread "I'll leave it up to you if you think spending a couple of hours dwelling on national decline is overkill, considering Hillsborough hasnt been left in peace for quarter of a century... " If I had lost a child at Hillsborough and knew that the events that happened had not been rightly reported, I wouldnt be moving on either.
  22. this place is ****! They have stuff on the menu description that isnt even on the plate. You would be better off going to Iceland and buying the food yourself.
  23. accept it and move on, yeah, lets forget it ever happened. You and Alpine saint can live in your cosy little world whereby anything that does not directly affect you matters not, a much ado about nothing. But then some cretin writes some post 9/11 stuff about how awful that was. Maybe those victims' families should accept it and move on. As for the Sun, apology, dont make me laugh, 23 years later, maybe Ian Brady should just apologise and then Mrs Bennet can accept it and move on, buy hey, no, she cant because she went to the grave not knowing.
