  1. I might not have worded it well, i am being serious in tha fact that West Ham have an experienced manager, Reading and us do not, and so far, it shows. It was funny last season when everyone on here went overboard with him, but I think like you, the bloke has done a lot at all (Geordies excepted, though he was only there for 5 mins!) with all the clubs he has been at, he might be a fat t wat that hoofes the ball, but he sitting better than Adkins at the mo.
  2. I think the water is well under the bridge in respect of Hoddle. He would be a top appointment. he has the experience, the desire and the ability. What the difference between all the promoted side this year, yeah, West Ham, and they have a manager who has more PL experience of most that are there now, what does that tell you.
  3. my money is on Le Tissier.
  4. is this for real....?
  5. is that true?
  6. the front row gets it over the back, thats for sure.
  7. areyou Deppo?
  8. my point was in this 'move on' philosophy, the fact that The Sun said what it said after the event, and the fact that the families continued to fight the injustice that they felt was carried out. If they had moved on, the authorities, goverment and The Sun (not the only disgraceful paper mind) would have never apologised. But then you are up against morons like Alpine Saint who say stuff like this on another thread "I'll leave it up to you if you think spending a couple of hours dwelling on national decline is overkill, considering Hillsborough hasnt been left in peace for quarter of a century... " If I had lost a child at Hillsborough and knew that the events that happened had not been rightly reported, I wouldnt be moving on either.
  9. this place is ****! They have stuff on the menu description that isnt even on the plate. You would be better off going to Iceland and buying the food yourself.
  10. accept it and move on, yeah, lets forget it ever happened. You and Alpine saint can live in your cosy little world whereby anything that does not directly affect you matters not, a much ado about nothing. But then some cretin writes some post 9/11 stuff about how awful that was. Maybe those victims' families should accept it and move on. As for the Sun, apology, dont make me laugh, 23 years later, maybe Ian Brady should just apologise and then Mrs Bennet can accept it and move on, buy hey, no, she cant because she went to the grave not knowing.

Hey Alpine, maybe their relatives should get over it and get on with their lives?
  13. OMG - Just go back to trolling about our defense, obviously a much more important subject in your sad little world.
  14. we have all turned up without tickets at one time or another, excuse for not realising that could lead me to going home in a body bag! What people seem to be implying is that the police werent able to make the right decisions because too many people did not have tickets and wanted to get in. You have answered your own question in saying "was this one game any different?" Well, if it wasnt, then why did the authorities get it so wrong? THats what made this game so different mate, because 96 never came home.
  15. I havent bought a newspaper in years, Echo excepted and the very odd train journey etc. I cant stand the red tops, they are all driven by the ****** of celebrity and sensational crap as well as the dark side of listening in to a dead 14 year olds voicemail and distorting evidence.
  16. amazing! Truly amazing that you can say this. Tickless fans were not to blame, people like you were, and people like you covered up the facts to protect themselves whilst blaming an easy target.
  17. how about likre in the theatre, whereby you pre-order your half time drinks?
  18. I did, a bit pandery to the Arsenal fans, almost like we feel privilliged to be there. Hope the players dont show them as much respect as you have.
  19. So thats probably equal to £100 fine to you and me, peanuts.
  20. exactly what happened to Le tiss, said it so himself.
  21. Tim Flowers was always someone I remember as being someone who appreciated the crowd, especialy away, top bloke as well!
  22. and......?
  23. seriouosly? Get serious!
  24. he is, still goes to a lot of games, was a REading fan originally, but I guess working on Saints for the Echo swayed him.
  25. apparently Redknapp wants him out.
