I've always thought his skills would best be deployed if we played him alongside a target man (Downs/Stewart) with a creative number 10 behind him (Spertsyan?) who could pick up his runs and slide the ball to him for him to run onto behind the centre halves.

Stupid comment, because a) it assumes that a poor team cannot have good players, and b) WIll Still will not be setting the transfer prices, and c) that the asking price and the negotiated price are almost always different.

You're right, I was disappointed that a number 9 ducked that, especially as it was an almost certain goal if he got there. Big Ron would never have ducked that ....

Based solely on that showing, I think Wrexham will be fine in the Championship if they can keep Moore fit as a target man. I'm sure they will strengthen before the window closes.
