  1. Born two hundred years too late, KRG. Those sentiments would have gone down a storm on the plantations.
  2. Little Englanders must have their vengeance.
  3. Inexplicable envy refers to people who are well off themselves, thinking that those on benefits and in poverty are living the life of Riley, not those looking to adopt. I fundamentally disagree with any sort of parental fitness test. For one, life will be full of dull fúcking blobs from suburbia. Enforcement would be a complete pain in the arse, and I'm sorry, but abortion and sterilisation are two possible means of enforcement, however emotive or disturbing you might find it. I'd rather we spend money making sure every kid was fed, housed and educated at a reasonable cost to the taxpayer.

    Short vs bald

    Choose your weapon.
  5. I'd argue that paying to be the US' willing imperialist lapdog or maintaining an independent nuclear deterrent (lol) probably adds a lot to the budget, neither of which the independence crowd are particularly keen on. Don't want to be here all day? Who are you kidding?
  6. Those tests are fine for people who can't have, or don't want their own kids. Unfortunately, nature has got fúck all respect for your little plan. What do you do if people say no? Forced abortions? Sterilisation? Just another ill-thought out idea conceived in the womb of inexplicable envy, imo.
  7. The fact that you cherry-picked that post says it all.
  8. Did it by mistake once. Drove two miles down the road, realised I was wearing all sportswear, and was mortified
  9. A load of crap. You're talking about denying the poor the right to breed based on cash. Used to be a time when populating the country was seen as a good thing. Incidentally, I grew up in a single parent household, did the Uni thing - got kids who are doing the Uni thing. Look at you. Determining life or death based on what someone has in the bank. Dooming yourself to bands like Hot Chip and Coldplay for the rest of your fúcking life
  10. Probably more so than playing God guided by the principles of the Daily Mail.
  11. The metaphor of divorce has been mentioned quite a few times in the media. Let's examine that divorce, shall we? 2012 Scots: "Things aren't working out. We want more independence within the marriage". Westminster: "More independence!? We gave you control of some of the budget over a decade ago! No way. Take this marriage or leave it, and there's no way I'll agree unless your kids do" Scots: "Ok, if that's our only option" Westminster: "It is." 2014 Westminster: "Still planning on that divorce?" Scots: "Aye" Westminster: "You'll never make it y'know. Don't know how to tell you this, but I've run up loads of debt. Part of that is yours" Scots: "We'll cope" Westminster: "You won't have your own money. We'll make sure of it. Forget about the kids getting work too. I've called in a few favours - convinced your major employers to leave if we split" Scots: "Are you sure this is fair?" Westminster: "Fair?! Who gives a fúck about fair? Stay inside the marriage or we'll fúck you and the kids up. We've warned you". Nothing like an amicable split, eh?
  12. The only reason not to have kids is if you don't want them. I know a single mum with twelve kids; she's done a very decent job - all of them have turned out okay, either decent parents to their own kids, or university grads (inc a Cambridge grad) with professional careers. Some of the means-tested suggestions on here would deprive you of twelve tax-payers and very nice people.
  13. That is spite, hypo. I'd suggest that like someone who works down the sewers, you just can't smell it anymore.
  14. Very interesting article, which puts the rise of the Yes campaign into a bit of context. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/16/media-shafted-people-scotland-journalists
  15. If that's remotely true, then I wouldn't blame the Scots for leaving at all. We offer a referendum, they vote yes, so we punish them? Is spite what we're about now?
  16. I'm ambivalent, but as you pointed out earlier, it provokes a lot of political discussion. Cuts right to the heart of it really. Who is the authority? Has the authority that's served you done a good enough job, or could you make a better stab of it on your own? It'll be a huge gamble for the Scots, just as it was for Cameron. I wonder if he's done regardless. Even if the Scots vote no, no-one will now regard him as saviour of the Union. They'll see him as someone who put it at risk. Could have folded on devo max, but went all in. Depressingly, I think Boris is going to be up next.
  17. Yet more posters thinking the SNP are going to set up a Politburo and permanent dictatorship Separate the referendum from the party. The Scots will still be able to vote post-independence, and if a sniff of this SNP cuts plan is true, then Scots will be able to vote them out.
  18. A lot of LFC fans on Twitter are letting Lallana off by claiming he doesn't look match fit. He does look pretty knackered to be fair. Balotelli had a chance earlier in the game, delivered to feet by Lallana, which he could have done better with (particularly if he'd spun as he did for his goal) - Lallana might have been looked on more fondly had he got the assist.
  19. Very droll. The point is that this is in our recent operational locker. If we're going to the trouble of infiltrating relatively small-time climate action groups, I can't see why we wouldn't indulge in a few black arts when it came to Scotland issue. Even if we're completely innocent of any skulduggery, No supporters have also been reported for intimidation and violence. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/09/02/scottish-independence-attacked_n_5750732.html It's not a Yes campaign only thing. Batman's just worried about the potential loss of his Camden batcave. There isn't enough crime in Plym, once the MPs have done their thing.

    Erwin Koeman

Ermin Koeman is an anagram of "Enema in work." Gets a load of sh!t over it , apparently.
  21. This should keep you busy. http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2011/01/472363.html
  22. "You got your move, and now you're shít!" The missus has just been raging at Lallana and Balotelli, although the latter wormed his way into her good graces by scoring. So now it's just Lallana she is unhappy with. Here is a picture of a disgruntled fan at the ground. Courtesy of @WeAreSaintsFC
  23. It's a perfectly legitimate question. The UK has got a long history of infiltrating political movements, including recent ones. Do you seriously reckon we'd target the likes Camp for Climate and leave the Yes Campaign, the thing that breaks up the Union alone? I think you need more chats with your Arab relatives
  24. And for the sake of argument, how do you know these are genuine yes men and not agent provocateurs?
  25. You reckon that British Asian nipper was comfy when accosted by those Rangers fans? Especially when they told him to move to Wales because England has too many immigrants?
